When I opened my eyes, I saw my Beta William, Gamma Ortiz and the elders were present there. I looked around but couldn’t find Grace anywhere. But I could feel that she was there. Maybe it must be my imagination and now I’m feeling much better.
William was the first one to see me awake as he helped me sit comfortably, which I didn’t need. The elders surrounded my bed and each of them stood circling me around.
“Alpha, are you okay?” Cole, one of the elders asked me.
“Yes, Cole. I’m fine.”
“We are glad, Alpha; you are finally awake.” Ralphie, the youngest among the Elders said, to which I just nodded my head.
“Alpha, why didn’t you call for help when you encountered the rogues?” William asked.
“I didn’t get a chance to mind link anyone as the rogue suddenly attacked me.”
