"Ava," Alice’s face darkened in an instant. She scowled, "Don’t start tearing Nora down just because you've been hanging out with Celeste. You're the one who’s changed."
Ava looked at her calmly. "Who I’m with doesn't matter. What matters is what I’ve seen and heard. When we were investigating General Lewis’s family case down south, I went to Hong Kong with Celeste. We were ambushed at the hotel."
