"Fina, you have to stay for the bonfire, please..." I hear Gio pleading with her. "Are you having a bonfire?" I inquire, looking at her. "You know how it is, Daemon," comments Alessandro. "Last Saturday, Gio ended up in the pool because of Franco. I had to jump in to get her out; she was too drunk to swim on her own," he murmurs. My cousins laugh, and I do too, to blend in, although I'm sure my smile looks more like a grimace, but I can't help but feel a bit left out. "Have they always been having fun?" A strange feeling settles in my chest, I take the glass and down the remaining wine in one gulp. It hits me hard, knowing that they all decided to move on and I didn't. Having them all here, laughing, enjoying life, each other's company, shows me how much I've lost by isolating myself
