Back at work in Columbus, Priscilla threw herself into the business of the Senate Finance Committee. For once, she enjoyed this submersion in numbers and money. Anything to divert her from her inability to cope with her father’s impending death, or from her inability to cope with the recent news about the death of her high school sweetheart Tyler.
