CHAPTER 21 Priscilla’s Rite of Passage Senator Tektonidis strutted through the reception area and filled the threshold to Senator Callahan’s office. “Hey Daniel, we’re headed over to Chelsie’s for dinner,” he said. “Aren’t you coming? Remember, we’ve agreed to put forth our best face in public. Tonight, we’re going to be as exuberant as the Republicans.” Since he already knew about the caucus’s plans for dinner, Senator Callahan nodded and asked Priscilla to join him and the others. “Besides, you look like you could use some cheering up.” Priscilla nodded and grabbed her purse.
