Before you could rationalize any thought, you threw open the second floor window and vaulted through it, your boots hit the ground running. Your steps tapped across the pebbled path with each pounding of your feet.  “Nellita!?” Rudderwick called from the open window. His voice was drowned out in the midst of the congested street. Some jumped back startled, jumping out of your warpath. Others simply shrugged like it was an everyday occurrence and not something that alarming.
