REFLECTION of WARD COURIER May, 2008 If you think that last night with Lys put me off of her completely, you are mistaken. It set me back a bit; but I was still very curious about her. I wanted to understand who she was and what made her tick, even if we never made it past that. I've been with some women who started out playing keep-away and turned out to be really neat to know. You never make it past that keep-away stage if you don't play ball. I was in no hurry to try to track Lys down, though. It was May. The school was entering its busiest period. Kids were getting antsy and harder to manage. Courses were winding down and exam week was coming. It was always a crunch. I wasn't thinking about dating. I did get time to reflect now and then, and my thinking about Lys may surprise you.
