I was on my office when my dad called,he said it’s important to be at the house by dinner. After settling everything in work ,I drive home. “ Visitors,dad has visitors? He didn’t inform me.” I uttered.

I just followed her ,and when we get there. I saw a woman,maybe same age as my father. They were talking happily,and I can see how my father smile at her. Those smile that’s so genuine,as the woman tell him something . The woman even,tap his shoulder and cover her face as she laugh too. They look happy,I never saw my father that happy with my mom. I never saw him that bright when my mom was still alive. What is happening,what is this? Why do I feel like something is not right?

I stop right infront of them,no emotion can be seen on my face. The woman look at me first,and slowly her smiling face fade as she look at my cold face. She tap my father arm and jerk her head to me. My father look at me,and like the woman beside her. His smile faded,he cleared his throat and became serious all of a sudden. He held the womans hand and his other hand on the woman shoulder.

“My love,this is Clifford Axus. You can just call him Cifford,or what do you prefer calling him.”

What did he just call her,my love? The woman beside her smile and extend her hand to tap my shoulder but I step back.

” Clifford,be nice!” He warned me,and then his face change as he look at the woman beside him .” This is your tita Sandra,and I’m planning to marry her.”

I jerk my right brow,” What?” I can’t beleve I’m hearing this now.

“ Hi,Clifford,nice to finally meet you. Your father talks a lot about you!” Sandra smiled as she extend her hand to me,I just look at my father dissappointedly.

“ Clifford!” He glared at me,and jerk his head for me to shake the hand of his woman.

“ I thought you have some important things to discuss since you call me here.” I ask instead,he nod as he grab the hand of Sandra and intertwined it with his.

“ This is important, I willl marry your tita Sandra and she will live her from now on with her daughter.”

“ And now ,there’s an extra baggage? “ I smirked,and loook at Sandra who just look down.

“ Clifford Axus,mind your tone! I am not asking for your permission ,I’m telling you this because you are still my son.”

“Son? The day mom died,your son died with her too. Don’t you remember what you did,or I have to remind you?” I saw how anger rose on his face,and he was about to raised his hand to slap or punch me when Sandra stop him. He was gritting his teeth,he made a fist as he breathe heavily.

“ Bastard-” I cut him off,and look at Sandra whose face is now scared.

“ Do you know what happened to his wife before,my mother? Why she died? Because if you knew,I doubt you would be here with him. Because you don’t know,if you’re next.” I smirk as I said those words ,I gasp as I feel pain in my left cheek. My face turned to the right ,I touch my lips . I move my jaw,as I taste the blood on my lips.

“ Enough Clifford,how dare you say that! You know what happened after your mom died,I already regretted my actions before. You see how I atone with my mistakes to your mother and I already ask for her forgiveness many times!” He shouted,Sandra grab his hand ,stopping him from getting near me.

I scoffed at what he said,” Forgiveness? It’s only given to those who deserve it,not a man like you who drive my mom to her death! If you didn’t cheat,if you just be contented and love her just like what you did to your w***e! She would still be here, I would still have my mother!” I fisted my both hands. I was heaving heavily,my eyes are blood shot at him. My mom killed herself ,because she can’t take my father having woman behind her back.

“ This is your tito Hanford son,Clifford Axus.” Sandra wispered but I can still hear her,Chandra gaze at me again. I saw how she bite those lips,I wish I’m the one whose bitting it. I look at Chandra ,she’s looking down and fiddling with her fingers. I heave a sigh , and look away.

“ Son,I know my mistakes before. And I know you will like your tita Sandra and Chandra her,you said you’d like to have a sister before but we can’t give it you as we age already.” Chandra looked up,but when our eyes met she look away immediately.

“ Whatever you say.” I muttered,still looking at Chandra.

“ Then let’s eat,we will talk about the weeding. We planned to have it next month on our resosrt,I want you and Chandra to be close before our weeding. Right love?” My father said,and Sandra agreed.

“ Yes,that would be lovely. My Chandra here ,long for a brother too . I think they will get along well,mi hija?” Sandra answered and grab her daughter’s hand and let her seat as she lovingly touch her head. When Chandra smiled, for a second I forgot how to breath. “ Clifford,sit down so we can eat now.” I blink as I look at my father,I cleared my throat and sit. I think I just felt my knees weaken for a moment,what just happened? This can’t be,it’s forbidden. She will be my stepsister ,I will be her big brother. I should stop what I’m feeling right now.
