Liesel, Liesel—Klara was calling loudly in a raised voice.
Liesel, who had just finished all her work and gone to her room a little while ago, came running after hearing her mother’s voice.
She went to Klara and said,
“Yes mom”
Before she could say anything else, Klara slapped her so hard that it shook her brain completely.
She turned her face straight, and Klara grabbed her slightly and said:
“Before leaving, I told you the kitchen should be clean, so why didn’t you clean it?”
She pressed her fingers hard into Liesel’s cheeks and in anger said:
“Mom… I… I just cleaned the kitchen…”
Klara suddenly pushed her face away and said:
“This is what you call cleaning the kitchen?”
She looked forward and Liesel was shocked.
The whole kitchen was messy—chips and biscuit packets were lying on the kitchen slab, a jug and glass were on the floor, water was spilled on the floor and inside the kitchen, and plates of food were also lying around.
It looked like she had not cleaned the kitchen at all.
After seeing the kitchen, she looked at Klara, who was staring at her angrily.
She grabbed Liesel by the arm and pulled her close and said:
“This is what you call cleaning the kitchen? Yes, answer me!”
Liesel’s condition had already become bad seeing Klara’s anger.
She said:
“Mom, I did it… I don’t know how this happened…”
Before she could say anything else, Klara pushed her hard backwards.
She fell on the ground.
“You don’t even work properly, and on top of that you lie,” Klara said angrily looking at her.
“You have 10 minutes. In 10 minutes I want this whole kitchen cleaned.”
After saying this, Klara left.

Liesel stood up with tears in her eyes and looked at the kitchen.
Only 10 minutes…
She quickly started cleaning the kitchen.
It was a square-shaped open kitchen. On three sides there were slabs and cabinets, and in the middle there was also a slab with cabinets underneath.
She cleaned the kitchen from one side and then moved to the other side.
As soon as she moved to the side, a loud scream came out of her mouth.
A piece of a cup was strongly stuck in her foot, and she sat down on the ground and started crying.
---
Hearing her scream, Felix came there.
As soon as he arrived, he said:
“What a dead drama is going on? Why are you screaming?”
She looked at him.
Liesel said:
“The cup piece got stuck in my foot…”
Hearing this, Felix said:
“Yes, so what should I do?”
“I know you did this on purpose so you don’t have to work and can just rest. I know everything.”
He said:
“I know you are acting. You can’t even see a broken cup on the floor like a blind person.”
Liesel stayed silent while crying and looking at him.
Felix then said:
“And yes, I broke this and it fell from me. And I didn’t even tell mom. So if you tell her, then see what I do to you.”
After saying this, he left.
Liesel looked at her foot where blood was flowing.
She cried silently and covered her face with her hands.
She thought:
Why is this happening to me? What have I done? What is my fault? If only I had died, then I would not have to face this. Why is this punishment not ending for me?
She cried deeply.
Then she remembered what Klara said.
She removed the cup piece from her foot with pain, a small scream coming out of her mouth.
She thought:
Sitting here and crying will not help. No one will come to help me.
She stood up.
She took out the first aid box from the kitchen drawer and quickly bandaged her foot.
Then she started cleaning the kitchen again.
10 minutes had already passed, but luckily Klara did not come.
She quickly finished cleaning the kitchen and then started walking towards her room.
Her foot was in severe pain at that time.
