SELENE History class was boring. Professor Harlan was talking about something that happened centuries ago, about pack leaders and how they made decisions. I was sitting in my usual seat staring at the clock trying to will it to move faster. Elena was teaching from the back of the room today, taking notes on something in a small notebook. The clock showed 11:47, thirteen more minutes until lunch. I doodled in the margins of my notebook.
