We met in the old classroom building after dinner. All five of us, me and Kael and Calder and Mara and Liam. We locked the door and closed all the curtains so no one could see inside.
I laid the arrow on the table in the middle of the room. "That is the arrow that shot you?" Mara asked. She was looking at it like it was dangerous, like it might suddenly come alive.
"Yeah," I said. "I found it buried by the river today."
Liam picked it up carefully and turned it over in his hands. "This is definitely Hunter's work," he said.
