Smoke on either sides of the alley blocked my sight and I decided to walk towards the right. I wondered if I should be running, but I couldn’t bring my feet to do so. It was almost overbearing the feeling of having ditched Damon back at the bar. It was so overbearing that I reconsidered and paused.  I thought of his face in the closet the night we had brought back the jester. I felt his cold hands on my face as if he was really there. My heart began to throb. Stop! I forced myself to disperse of those thoughts. I moved my feet again and kept going until I passed the foggy smoke and was confused when it had led me to a brick wall.
