Shay: I awakened slowly from my nap, the sounds of Saint's whispers causing a smile to tug at my lips. My eyelids felt heavy, still weighted by the remnants of a deep, healing sleep, but when I finally coaxed them open, my heart surged at the sight that greeted me. Saint, the rough and guarded man who had once been such a force of chaos and strength in my life, was stretched out on the narrow couch across the room, cradling our baby girl in his arms.
