Shay: It’s my wedding day, and I’m actually calm—almost suspiciously so. The early morning sun creates a halo of soft light around the space where I’m sitting at my makeshift vanity. The mirror reflects someone who looks like me but somehow different, more radiant. Maybe it’s the subtle glow that comes from a heart finally healing, or the excitement dancing in my eyes at the thought of marrying Saint. Kat’s voice carries from the hallway. “Shay, you decent?
