The Contract Trap

The securities came in to send Chinasa away but Adrian told them to let her be and he gave Chinasa the contract, everyone was surprised including Chinasa because she thought Adrian would send her away.
Chinasa was told to resume her post the next day, Adrian concluded the interview and left.
When Chinasa got home, she told her parents what happened, they were so surprised and her mother said
"Chinasa, do you mean even after slapping the CEO, he still gave you the contract?"
Yes ma, "Chinasa replied."
Chinasa's phone rang...
"Hello, please who is on the line?" Chinasa asked the caller
"I am Adrian Blackwood, the CEO of Blackwood Enterprises and I'm calling to inform you that you should be at my house on or before 7am tomorrow, I will forward the address to you bye." Adrian replied and ended the call
"Does my duty start from his house?, this wasn't the job description." Chinasa murmured to herself.
"Chinasa, what is the problem?" Chinasa parents asked
"Mum and Dad, Mr Adrian told me to be at his house on or before 7am." Chinasa responded
"For what exactly?" her parents replied
"I don't know oo, I just want to rest and prepare for tomorrow's duty." she answered and went to her room
It's 5am the next day...
Chinasa quickly jumped out of her bed and started preparing so she would get to Adrian House before 7am.
She chose her best outfit for the day and went to the bathroom to bathe.
After bathing, Chinasa went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the family and she ate her portion.
After eating, she went to her room to dress then she applied some makeup that she had and sprayed her affordable perfumes.
It's 6:20am already and Chinasa had to start heading out immediately to avoid lateness, so she went to meet her parents to seek for their blessings and left.
Chinasa got to Adrian's home at exactly 7am.
Chinasa knocked on his door and a lady answered.
"Good morning ma." Chinasa greeted the lady
"Good morning, how may i help you?" the lady asked
"Ma, I was told to be here by Mr Adrian Blackwood." Chinasa replied
"He's my boyfriend, what should i tell him is your name?" the lady asked
"Chinasa, his new personal assistant in Blackwood Enterprises." Chinasa replied
"Okay, hold on." the lady said
The lady went inside to inform Adrian.
"Babe, someone came to see you and she said her name is Chinasa." she said
"Baby, that's my new personal assistant.. let her in." Adrian replied
The lady went outside and told Chinasa to come in.
Chinasa went in..
"Good morning sir." Chinasa greeted Adrian
"Good morning Chinasa, you came early....so the lady over here is my girlfriend and her name is Sophia." Adrian replied
"Nice to meet you Ma." Chinasa said to her
"Chinasa I would need you to massage my girlfriend foot, she has been complaining of pain and I also need you to prepare breakfast, clean up the house, wash the dishes and do the laundry." Adrian said
Chinasa was confused for a bit and replied
"Sir, am I the one you are referring to?"
"Is there any Chinasa except you in this house?" Adrian asked
Chinasa got angry and said
"Sir, this is not part of my work description and I'm not comfortable with this or else you want me to quit..... I'm not a househelp!"
"Did I just hear you say quit?" Adrian asked
"Yes Sir." Chinasa replied
"Seems you have forgotten what you signed for but I will remind you....firstly, you signed a contract of three years. Secondly, if you decide to quit before the contract is over, you will have to pay the sum of six hundred million naira to the company's account and you know what that means right?" Adrian said to her
Chinasa had no choice than to do whatsoever Adrian says after remembering what she signed to
"Okay." Chinasa replied
"Chinasa, come over here so you can massage my foot." Sophia said
I regret ever knowing this man and his company "Chinasa murmured to herself" and she went over to where Sophia was to massage her foot.
After massaging Sophia's foot, she went ahead to prepare breakfast for them and did everything Adrian told her to do.
Chinasa finished the chores by 11:30am, she was so tired at this point and wanted to take a rest before Adrian called her.
"Take these items to the car and wait, I'm coming so we would start going to the office." Adrian said
Chinasa took the items and went to the car.
"Baby, I'm about leaving." Adrian said to his girlfriend
The girlfriend escorted him to the car, she kissed and hugged him before he drove out of the house.
On getting to the office, The manager and other personnel working in Blackwood Enterprises saw Chinasa coming down from the CEO car and they started suspecting her because no one has dared to be in the same space with the CEO talk more of being inside his car.
Chinasa noticed people staring at her while she was going to keep Mr Adrian luggages in his chief executive office but she wasn't even bothered because she is very angry with the event that happened earlier in his house.
Chinasa was in her office when the CEO called her to come to his office immediately.
"Take this file, I want you to work on it smartly." Adrian said
"Ok sir." Chinasa replied bitterness in her heart and left his office.
On her way going back to her office, a colleague in the company name Mrs Mary approached her and said
"I'm sure you are sleeping with the CEO you cheap ashawo."
"And what do you mean by this Mrs?" Chinasa said
"Do you think you can fool me?, I'm sure you are sleeping with the CEO that is why you were given this position because you don't worth this position." Mrs Mary said to Chinasa
"I don't have time for this nonsense, excuse me." Chinasa replied her in a very rude manner
"Just ensure to be very careful because I have got my eyes on you." Mrs Mary said and left
