Silent Storms Kiara’s POV The cab rolled to a stop outside the gates of the Fernandes Mansion again. Her heart raced, palms sweaty. She had made it this far, but something inside warned her—this wasn’t the right time. As she stepped forward, a guard stopped her. "You again?" he frowned. "I told you yesterday, no visitors without appointments." "I just need five minutes with Antonio Fernandes," Kiara pleaded. "Please." The guard stood firm. "Mr. Fernandes doesn't meet strangers. And lately, he’s not in the mood for surprises." Kiara’s heart sank. She turned slowly, the heavy gate looming behind her like a wall that separated two worlds. Why do I feel like the truth is right behind those walls? Why does everyone seem to hide it from me? Just as she turned to leave, she noticed someone watching from a window on the second floor. The curtain shifted quickly. Her breath caught. Someone saw me. She didn’t know who. But that was enough. She would come back. Just not yet. Christin’s POV Back in his car, Christin scrolled through his phone. The spy reports were detailed and unnerving. Kiara visited the Fernandes Mansion again. She tried the city records. She’s asking questions about David Fernandes. He closed the folder with a sigh. His mother knew everything. And now she was watching. He looked up as Liya slipped into the passenger seat. "You okay?" she asked, worried. "No," he admitted. "She knows everything. About Kiara. About Uncle David." "Aunt Regina?" He nodded. "What’s she going to do?" Christin gripped the steering wheel. "I don’t know yet. But I’m afraid she’ll break Kiara just to protect her crown." Regina’s POV From the veranda of a luxury hotel suite, Regina sipped her espresso, her expression unreadable. The skyline of the city gleamed ahead, but her thoughts were elsewhere. "Is the report complete?" she asked over the phone. "Yes, ma’am," the spy confirmed. "She tried meeting Mr Antonio Fernandes again today." Regina’s brows lifted. "And?" "He refused her. Didn’t even see her." Regina smiled coldly. "Perfect. He still hates David. That buys us time." She ended the call, eyes narrowing. Kiara is smart. But not smart enough. Not yet. Jennie entered the suite moments later, all smiles. "You called Me Aunty?" Regina didn’t even look at her. "Walk with me." As they walked along the corridor, Regina spoke lowly. "Christin is emotionally distracted. I need eyes on him." Jennie smirked. "Consider it done." "Don’t get overconfident. I like you because you have potential—not because I trust you." Jennie’s smile faltered slightly, but she nodded. Jennie’s POV Back in her car, Jennie’s fingers trembled as she scrolled through Christin’s i********:. He hasn’t posted with Kiara... yet. That was good. It meant she still had a chance. But Regina’s words echoed in her mind. Potential... not trust. That woman was terrifying. But she held power. Ugh And i will break that one day Jennie whispered, "Kiara, enjoy your scholarship days. You won’t last long." Kiara’s POV Back home, Kiara sat with her mom, who was folding laundry. "Mom," she said cautiously, "Is there any other reasons for dad changed his name?" Her mom stiffened slightly. Kiara noticed it. "Why do you ask?" Kiara played innocent. "I saw a book in the library. Thought the name was same .That must be dad ryt?" Her mom’s voice was soft. "It’s just a name. There are many Fernandeses in this world." Kiara didn’t believe her. You’re hiding something. And I’m going to find it. Christin’s POV At a bar with Theo, Christin was silent. "Dude, why do you look like you’ve aged five years in one week?" Christin rubbed his temple. "Because my mom is back." Theo froze. "You mean the Aunt Regina Fernandes?" Christin nodded. "Damn. What did she say about Kiara?" "She knows everything. But she hasn’t made a move yet. That’s what scares me." Theo leaned in. "What are you going to do?" "Protect Kiara. Even if it means hiding things from her." "Like what?" Christin exhaled. "Like who her father really is." Regina’s Secret Meeting – POV Unknown In a private room of a luxury restaurant, Regina met with a sharply dressed man. "Mr. Chan, I need you to do something for me." He raised a brow. "Anything for the chairwoman." She slid a file across. Inside were photos of Kiara. "Find out who she’s speaking to. Who’s helping her. And if she ever steps foot in Antonio’s office... stop her. Quietly." Mr. Chan nodded. Regina’s voice was venom. "If she threatens my empire, I will erase her—just like I erased David." Ethan’s POV Ethan stared at the screen as the hacker showed him Kiara’s profile slowly disappearing from the college database. "Are you sure this won’t be traced?" The hacker grinned. "She’ll vanish. Like she never existed." Ethan leaned back, satisfied. "Good." But something inside him twisted. Was it guilt? No. He didn’t feel guilty. Just... possessive. She belongs to me. And no one else. Victor De Souza’s POV Victor sat quietly in the Fernandes boardroom. Regina hadn’t told him the full reason for returning. But he knew better. She feared David. Feared that Uncle Antonio might one day forgive him. That Kiara would rise to power. Victor didn’t hate David. In fact, he missed his old friend. But he couldn’t go against Regina. Not yet. Still... he’d keep a watch on Kiara. Just in case. Kiara’s POV She walked down the college corridor, now more alert than ever. Something was wrong. People were whispering. When she tried logging into the college system, her ID failed. "Invalid user." Her stomach dropped. She ran to the administration office. "There must be some mistake! My ID isn’t working!" The admin looked confused. "Are you sure you’re enrolled here?" Kiara’s breath hitched. "Check again. Please!" After a moment, the woman looked up. "I’m sorry, Miss Richardson. We have no student by that name in our system." Her world tilted. What is happening? To Be Continued...💖
