The Girl In-Between

Chapter 9

I had seen Layton today but i didn't dare stare at him at all. The memory at the lake yesterday appeared in my mind. I shook it out before it consume my mind. Wondering more about him.

I'd catch him looking at me, well i should say staring at me. Ollie had noticed this also so he would pull me in closer to him each time. He'd throwing evil death glares at him. Once i caught Layton's eyes they widen a little bit. Like he was trying to tell me something. Closing my eyes i turned away.

Ollie's grip tighten more and it began to hurt. I tried not to make a huge deal out of it but then my eyes became to water.

"Kacey" I bit my tongue and looked up to him.

"Are you ok?"

Am i ok? are you kidding your squeezing the life out of me. Pretty sure my face was bright red and once he eased up on the squeezing me i let out huge breath of air.

"You were....hurting me" I managed to gasp out.

"Oh crap, i'm sorry" He started to inspecting my waist were he was holding to tight and right there was a nice blue, purple bruise appearing.

I knew it would only been there for a day or two at the most but it was going to hurt for the mount of time.

Just then the bell went for the next class. Everyone dash in every direction trying to get to whichever class they had. Ollie took hold of my hand and pulled me to English so i didn't get swept the wrong way.

How fun we had this class with Layton and he would normally sit behind me. But as he walked in headed to the other side of the room. He gave me one dirty look and Ollie noticed as well and of course he didn't take to kindly to.

"Don't you dare look at my ma--girlfriend like that" He pushed his chair back which fell over as he slammed his hands on the table. The whole class got a fright. Some girls had fear in their eyes while the guys looked on with wide eyes.

" I shall look at her however i like" Layton muttered back and smirking.

I grabbed Ollie's arm just as the teacher walked in. I shook my head asking him not to cause a scene. Glad he quickly noticed he was about to say mate and changed it to girlfriend. But i can't believe he just said that in-front of everyone. He hasn't even asked me out yet and i thought we were taking it slow. As in this Saturday get to know each other date slow.

Oh wells i guess he couldn't wait until then.

"Don't let him get to you. Ps girlfriend?" I look up at him raising a eyebrow. Was he not gonna ask first.

"Sorry he's always be able to get under my skin and yeah girlfriend" He gritted his teeth together not saying much more on it. I was confused he could have said mate but he didn't. 

"Ollie you can't exactly stop him can you?".

"I would damn well try though" I sighed sitting up straight at the teacher started to talking to us. I kept hold of Ollie's hand until i felt him calm down rubbing my thumb around in a soothing way.

I somehow lost Ollie somewhere between our last class and the main door so i just continued to my car. I whipped out my key and put it into the door to open as i did so i heard some shouting from the main door.

I turned around to see Ollie yelling at some girl.

"Will you just leave me alone"

"Not until you tell me why"

"I've already told you why, it's over end off!"

I wonder what that was all about. I see Ollie look over to me so i smiled. He gave me a quick one back as this girl noticed she grabbed his arm trying to get him to wrap his arms around her going in to kiss him.

He took hold of her waist and said something to her. I couldn't quite hear what was said but his mouth was so close to her ear before he push her a little back. There was no force in his push yet she seemed to stumble giving him a death glare to.

I bugged me that this girl was trying to throw herself at my mate. Who does she think she is. I was going to go over and give her a piece of my mind but Ollie was fast enough to stop me.

"Who the heck was that?" I threw at him.

"Kacey, don't i've sorted it"

"What do you mean sorted it?" I wonder if this had anything to do with him leaving the other day while we were out shopping with my mum.

"I mean i've told her not to bother trying is not happening and to stay the hell away from me"

"Do you think that's going to keep her away"

"I would pretty much think it would" He growl out. I swear if he could there would be steam coming out his ears.

I placed my hands on his cheeks and placed my lips on his giving him the softest, gent-less kiss i could master without it going to far. He suddenly deepened it turning it into a full on make out. I had to pull away for some air. My heart was thumping so hard you would think i was running. The kiss was full of passion and desire. I wanted him there and then. But i couldn't it's far to early for that kind of thing. I just wanted to calm him down enough. I glanced back over his shoulder to the lass he push away. She gave me one hell of a death glare but i didn't care. He was mines.

"Well she most definitely will now i hope" Ollie said pulling me into his arms.

I hoped it work but being a human girl like Sasha there was no telling what she had planned next but i'm sure Ollie would sort her out if need be.

"Come on man we need to get going" Mason came up behind Ollie and giving me a fright.

"Oh sorry, i didn't see you there. Hey Kac" Giving me a wave as he headed to Ollie's car.

"Hey Mas" I gave Ollie a quick kiss on the cheek.

"So your gonna be Luna soon?" He ask over the car to me. I glance at Ollie while shrugging

"Ahh-" I looked to Ollie as i was answering but he cut me off.

"She sure is and it will be official very soon" I felt giddy inside. But tried hard not to let it on. 

"Really? soon like as in ..." I think he knew what i was hinting at.

"I'm not saying nothing my lips are sealed. But you know you'll be Luna very soon anyways. So is no the secret"...

"Defo not" I grinned. "Well i shall see you tomorrow"

"Wait" Ollie stole another kiss before letting me go home.

Ok, ok so i know it's only Tuesday or was it Wednesday. Heck i've lost my marbles, i have no idea what day it is now and this was the best day ever now since i just randomly kiss Ollie. I made the first moved i can't believe it.

It was such a blur. I'm going to be Luna to, It's so crazy my world as be flipped upside down and i bet this girl will give me some grief for what i did but what she doesn't know it i'll always get my own back on her for trying to get it on with my man.

No one is allowed to touch him but me. Like i'm not allowed to be around no other guy than him. I even kept my promise of staying away from Layton so I would like to hope this girl will know what's best for her and keep away from Ollie to but somehow i can't see her doing this.

Ollie's POV

We got out of our last class and the halls were busy with people going in every direction. Someone pulled me to aside and i lost where Kacey had gone.

"What do you want" I asked Sasha.

I had been seeing her up until i found out Kacey was my mate. When we were planning our date i had forgetting all about Sasha and had to run of to let her down gentle. Although she wouldn't take no for an answer and was becomings very needed.

I know she was human and i thought she was nice enough to have a fling but nothing else.

"I was wanted to see if you'd like to catch a movie or hang out?" She asked in her sickly sweet voice.

It struck a nerve and i couldn't stand her accent no long made me sick to my core.

"I've already told you we can't hang out no more"

"But i don't understand why not?"

We started walking towards the main entrance as i knew Kacey would probably be at her car by now.

"Look i've already told you it wasn't working out and i think it was best to end things with you"

"Doesn't mean we cant be friends though"

"Will you just leave me alone"

"Not until you tell me why"

"I've already told you why, it's over end off!"

I then turned my head to see if i could see Kacey and she was right were i knew she'd be next to her car. I noticed her smiling at me so i smiled back.

Sasha noticed this and trying to pull me in for a hug and give me a kiss. I think she was trying to make Kacey jealous. I grabbed her waist and spoke in alpha tone into her ear even though i know it doesn't work on human i did it anyways.

"Don't you ever touch me again or it shall be the last time you ever do" With that i lightly pushed her away but she had to take it one step further and stumble.

I could see Kacey face turn from normal to red in the matter of seconds. Her feet started to move in my direction but her car door was still wide open with her keys in it. I moved fast as i could to stop her coming over here and try to calm her down. I've already sorted the problem there wasn't much else she could do.

"Who the heck was that?" She asked pretty much shouting at me.

"Kacey, don't i've sorted it"

"What do you mean sorted it?" She yelled back at me.

"I mean i've told her not to bother trying is not happening and to stay the hell away from me"

"Do you think that's going to keep her away"

"I would pretty much think it would" I low growl escape my throat as i could see she was upset by what happened.

She placed her hands on both sides of my face placing her lips very gently on mines. I wasn't sure where it was going so i deepen it a little more. This was our first kiss and i was going to make sure it was the best first kiss she ever got. She soon pulled away giving her a chance to catch our breath. For a first kiss with her it was better than any thing I've ever experienced, her lips were so soft and gentle. The kiss was full of desire and i wanted so much more.

Kacey looked back to where Sasha was standing and smiled with the world's biggest cheese i ever seen. I could see she only did it to rub it in but it was so worth it. Sasha shot us both a evil glare before stomping off in another direction.

"Well she should most definitely will now" I said as i pulled her closer in my arms.

She smelt divine my wolf howling out loud and i wanted to join him on it to. She fitted so perfectly with my body like she was always meant to be and she was.

"Defo not" she grinned. "Well i shall see you tomorrow"

"Wait" I gave her one last kiss before she got into her car.

I watched her drive away but me and Jess got into the car. They had been spotting of Rogues on our outskirts. They were no threat but had to be dealt with.

With that said we got into the car and drove off.

"Come on man we need to get going" Mason came up behind me giving Kac a fright.

"Oh sorry, i didn't see you there. Hey Kac" .

"Hey Mas" She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek

"So your gonna be Luna soon?" Mason says to her teasingly I'm gonna kick his arse i thought

"Ahh-" She looks at me. I quickly cut her off as she can't know the plan for this weekend.

"She sure is and it will be official very soon" She huge this huge grin on her face

"Really? soon like as in ..." Oh i knew what she meant but i was giving nothing away.

"I'm not saying nothing my lips are sealed. But you know you'll be Luna very soon anyways. So is no the secret"...
