Chapter 7 Although the kites were fun, they were not quite what Dallmin was after. He and Annie had spent a couple of weeks designing new ones, and, looking up, he decided that they had just about got these ones right. Hers was in the shape of her favourite flower, and his looked like one of the large beasts that spent their time bathing in the lake. Not as pretty as Annie’s, but it flew well.
