I felt my body tense. I couldn't remember a time in my life when I hadn't felt tense. It was always a comfortable, yet churlish sensation. New school? Tense. Confrontation? Tense. Strange person that smiles too much? Tense. I wore discomfort like a sweater, an accessory that Moriah was always teasing me about. This situation was no different.
