I looked around the room searching for a window. A breath of fresh air was exactly what I needed right now. The eye that was able to open saw all the shapes and figures it needed to, but it was all through a stained purple filter, creating shadows where there were none. "It'll be like that for a few days as the blood is carried off," the nurse had told me. "It's mostly due from the pressure that's built around your eye, and not your eye itself." She had assured me.
