“And then Gloria said her mommy yelled so loud the windows shook!”
“Is that right? And why was Gloria’s mommy so angry?”
Jasmine climbs onto my lap, and I smile. “Gloria’s big brother, Sid, was driving his daddy’s car. But Sid is not allowed to drive because he is rubbish!”
I shake my head, trying not to laugh. Jasmine sometimes speaks as though she were fifteen instead of five years old. But I love listening to her talk. My beautiful baby girl has really come out of her shell. Jasmine is a wonderful big sister, and having Gloria as a friend has helped immensely. That little girl is so outgoing it’s unreal. She’s not shy, and that has helped Jasmine to be less shy.
