Saber stood up as his eyes followed the back of a retreating Oliver. He can sense that the other boy is mortified judging by the stiffness of his muscles and the way he frantically moves to get away from Saber. Without looking back, Oliver slammed the bathroom door and Saber was left alone with his thoughts.
The aroma of Oliver was still lingering inside the bathroom as if it won't let Saber forget. Its sweet and tangy smell was filling Saber's nose making him crave the taste of Oliver once again.
What happened was sudden but Saber didn't regret any of it. He knows that he cannot just let it pass. It was a now or never situation. If he didn't act on his hunger, he will just crave it more and more until one day he'll explode. At that very moment, Saber needed to fulfill his hunger. That is all that he wanted - to make his stomach sated.
Can you blame the guy for wanting to eat? It is in his nature to feed on humans. He needed to do that for him to live and to function.
A defeated sigh escaped Saber's lips. With all the explanations that he came up in his head, he can't even believe any of them. Yes, he wanted to taste that delicious smell that surrounds Oliver. Yes, he did that to fill his stomach. And he thought that if he did that the grip on him by the other boy's smell will disappear.
But damn, everything was wrong. So f*****g wrong that Saber just wanted to pull all his hair out because of the situation at hand.
Even after a taste of Oliver, he can't get enough. Oliver's kiss might be enough to fill his appetite but he just wanted to taste all of him. And not just for food purposes because the way Oliver moans earlier got him pretty hard that his jeans are still tight.
Suddenly he heard his dad's voice in this head telling him about this.
Is this what his dad has been talking about? About the aroma of the person that you love. 'But I don't love Oli, I just even met him. I am not into boys either in the first place.' Saber argued in his mind. He just can't believe the idea of being in love with his food. It is absolutely absurd.
'Maybe Oliver just used some perfume that has a great smell. Maybe that is why his smell is so aromatic and mouth-watering.' Saber thought. 'Yeah, that is it. I knew there is some explanation about what happened.'
Denying what happened, Saber believed the crazy explanation he gave himself. He took a couple of deep breathes to make his erection go away. When his problem down below was solved he trudged his way to his next class.
****
Saber had three classes before lunch. He knows that being a new student, he is expected to attend all his classes on his first day of school. But he already missed his second class because that is when he ate Oliver - literally and figuratively.
Nothing much happened in his other two classes. It was the typical new student day for him. He got introduced in front of everybody. Every girl always swooned after him and some even had the courage to flirt with him. And because he has the personality of a playboy, he flirted back - but only to those girls that he liked the smell.
However, even though he liked their smell it is like he is still looking for something. He may not admit it to himself but he liked the aroma of Oliver better than the smell coming from the girls. It's just so much better. So, so much better.
Though his instinct is saying that he won't like these girls he keeps on flirting back. Saber wanted the flavor of Oliver flushed out of his body and the only way to do that is to take someone who can erase it - cover it with another.
During one of his classes, this girl named Pauline keeps on flirting with Saber. She keeps flipping her hair and giving him suggestive eyes. She even goes as far as hiking her skirt up even more and lowering the v-neck of her shirt. But Saber can admit that Pauline is hot - a typical blonde cheerleader in her cheerleading uniform.
As he listens to her talk he also concluded that she is also the stereotype dumb blonde. He rolled his eyes on that but she smells good enough. So even with the shallow conversation, he can settle with her.
When their class finished and it was time for lunch, he pulled Pauline into the hallway where there are only a couple of people. Since it is lunch most of the students are in the cafeteria or outside. Saber pinned her on the wall between the lockers and the water fountain.
Saber instantly attached his lips to Pauline's. He licked the bottom lip of the girl and she immediately gave entrance to Saber's tongue. It was a great kiss alright. He can see that Pauline have a couple of experience regarding kissing but Saber was not satisfied. Sure, he was feeding and his stomach is getting food but it was tasteless. Every saliva that he drank from the girl tastes bland - like pasta without sauce or like soup without seasoning. He was not enjoying it even a little.
Because of that thought, he keeps on pushing on Pauline getting her aroused and he was successful. He can hear Pauline's moans through their lips but it did nothing to her taste, not even a little bit.
Growing frustrated with what is happening with him, Saber pulled himself away from the girl.
"You are one good kisser Saber." Pauline purred on Saber's ears as she clings to him even more. But he just took a step back. "What?"
"Nothing." Saber answered. "I am just hungry. I'll go to the cafeteria first."
Pauline gave him a confused look but eventually shrugged and went outside. Maybe to eat with her popular friends.
Saber just let out a perturbed sigh. He doesn't know what is happening to him and it is getting him frustrated. Once again, in just one day, he had the urge to pull all his hair out.
He made his way towards the cafeteria. He may be a man-eater but he still liked human foods. It is nothing like the taste of humans or giving his body any sort of nutrition but it's good nonetheless. And it keeps off the suspicion on them. It would be weird if a person doesn't eat food.
The cafeteria is crowded with students. It was noisy because everyone is talking. Students take advantage of the fact that they can talk to someone without getting reprimanded by a teacher.
Saber didn't know how he knew but as soon as he stepped inside the cafeteria his eyes were immediately zeroed on Oliver's form at the left side of the room.
Oliver is talking to a girl. He didn't know what is wrong with him but his chest constricts at the sight. 'He has a girlfriend. How can I be stupid? A looker like him is definitely in a relationship.' Saber thought.
Then as if electrocuted he looked away. 'Man, I feel like a jealous bastard. And I called a guy a looker. Something is definitely not right with him. Maybe I need a doctor.'
His decision to eat lunch was long gone on Saber's mind. He just wants to get out of the room. Somewhere where he can be alone with his thoughts and especially where Oliver is far - way far - away from him.

It was accepted that Oliver steered away from Saber all day. They had all their afternoon class together but Oliver avoided Saber like a plague. All that Saber can do is sigh because he knew what he did was the reason for the avoidance.
He can't still accept the fact that he shuns away a good-looking girl who kissed great because he liked the aroma of a boy better. It still confuses him to no end and he only knew this boy for a day but he is hooked already. No one ever did that to him.
Saber was totally beat and flopped down on their sofa instantly after school.
"What's up, sport?" Jason greeted his son.
A groan was the only reply he gave his father.
"Okay, what is wrong?" Jason sat beside Saber on the sofa and put his arm around him. "You never groan for an answer. You always have some smart comeback."
He looked at his dad then ahead again. "I'm tired."
"Then why don't you look for a snack?"
"I can't." Saber groaned again.
Jason gave an 'are you kidding me look' to his son. "And why can't you? You never said no to food before. And you are always full. What happened now?"
Before he chickened out, Saber told Jason what happened on his very first day of school. He told his father everything, and he means everything that happened - from when he came in late to his first subject to the end of the day where Oliver is avoiding him.
Jason just smiled evilly at his son.
"Stop looking at me like that. I know that look very well." Saber stood up from his position on the couch and faced his father.
"Oh really? And what is my look?" His father taunted him.
Saber let out another groaned and said "That's the 'I told you so look.'"
"Yup. I told you that when there you love a person it can make the food tastier. I told you so." Jason said with a laugh and patted his son's back.
"You are not helping dad." Saber whined. "I don't know what to do. I can't eat because everything just tastes bland and the only food that tastes good is avoiding me like I am a mad person"
"Well, it is your fault you know," his father said. "You solve this."
"Dad." He whined again.
Jason just laughed at his son and went to the kitchen leaving Saber with his own thoughts.
'I don't know what to do.' He mentally sighed.

It's been three days. Three f*****g days that Oliver's been avoiding Saber. And he can't do anything about it.
He is looking at Oliver talking to some of their classmates. Oliver is still looking good, not pale like he was the first day they met. Saber can't keep his eyes off him.
Saber is famished. He never ate anything for the last three days. He can feel his stomach gurgling at his hunger strike but he doesn't want to eat anything besides Oliver. Well, truthfully his body won't taste anything besides Oliver.
He caught Oliver looking back, glancing at him. Saber smiled a little at him. Then he didn't know what happens next because everything turned black.
