“Come in,” Jess said as a knock broke her thoughts. She stood by the window, her hands nervously moving on the silk material of her gown, a dress that fell almost too grand for her. She stared at her reflection in the beautiful ornate mirror, barely recognising the woman she had become in just a few hours. Luca stepped inside, his presence commanding yet welcoming. His all-black suit emphasized his large shoulders, and his blue eyes softened up when they landed on her body. “Good morning, my Queen,” he greeted with a small smile on his face.
