*Lacey pov*

"Can you just explain the luna duties to me?" I ask michelle

"Of course, Your main duties will be planning the large pack events. There is a list of traditional events our pack holds, you'll make the alphas schedule for any important events he needs to attend with other packs, while Jessie is the protector and provider you will provide the fun and nurturing side, you listen to pack members concerns and try to keep everyone happy." michelle says but she continues "It sounds like a lot but it's really not hard lacey and your wolf will help you along with whatever advisors you chose, you also don't have a money limit, so doing these things are easier. Along with the list of traditions to be upheld I also have a book with all the event coordinators we use, anything you need will come from them. you call them and tell them what kind of catering, decorations, dj, etc. that you want and they make it happen exactly how you want it." she says

"I can do this. So I guess the luna ceremony is first and I should work on that?" I ask

"Yes absolutely. Your dress is going to be the most difficult. So I will call and ask the top 3 boutiques on the list to bring me multiple dresses for you to try on." she says and I nod for her to go ahead.

"Luna lacey I'd like to offer my assistance." misty says.

"I would love that misty and I'm sure nobody knows the packhouse and planning as well as you do, how long have you been here?" I ask because she is young, maybe 25 tops but she is already head maid.

"I've been here 3 years, but I moved up quickly because I'm dedicated. I was surprisingly the best female fighter in my old pack, but I left because no matter how good you were they wouldn't offer you a position on the warrior team if you were a woman. The maid position was all that was available when I came here. So I took it and I'm just trying to do my best." misty says looking down.

"How would you like to be my gamma misty? I ask.

*Amanda-Lacey you don't know her don't just offer her that position.*

*Aliyah says she will be very valuable to me, but I've already chosen you as my beta so that's the only position left for her* I say to amanda in mindlink

Amanda gets teary eyed, and looks at me and says thank you out loud.

"luna lacey I would be honored." misty saying bowing.

"Just call me lacey misty. I'm not big on the formalities" I say and send her a wink.

"Misty this is Amanda, she will be my beta" I say

Amanda and lacey carry on conversation for a moment and I'm amazed at the fact that amanda is getting along with another woman besides me or michelle.

"Have you picked your personal guards yet?" misty asks.

"I'm going to ask Joseph, and Jake" I respond

"Great choice" misty says smiling.

"misty who should I ask to take your position as head maid?" I ask realizing that the spot is left wide open now.

"Definitely Natalie, She's here on time everyday. She never calls out, She hasn't complained about not receiving a raise in the 5 years she's been here, No drama, And she works hard." she says.

Jessie enters the kitchen but doesn't speak a word.

"Can you ask her to come here really quick please?" I ask.

"Of course, just a moment." she says.

"Hello Luna lacey, I'm natalie, you requested me?" she says with a small bow.

"Hello Natalie, just call me lacey, I see you've been here for 5 years, have a remarkable attendance and attitude, and you also haven't recieved a raise in 5 years?" I ask, while shooting my mate a glance, he understands that I'm not happy with payroll habits, but he swallow hard and stands up straighter, still not saying anything.

"That is true lacey, however I'm content with my pay and I love my job!" she says smiling genuinely.

"Well you just got a promotion natalie, I'm stealing misty away as my gamma. So the head maid position is open and it comes along with an extra $20 an hour, so I believe that would make your pay $34 an hour, How does that sound?" I ask and her mouth is hanging open.

"Luna I would gladly take the position If you are sure I'm the person you want to have it." she says

"my gamma says you're the girl for the job, so do me a favor and take today off, you haven't had a day off in a long time, come back tomorrow ready to learn your new duties!" I say

"Thank you luna, you won't regret it." she says smiling and turns to walk away.

"Luna lacey. we finished a bit ahead of schedule. Your office is finished and looks amazing" Lana exclaims.

"Care to go see my office with me alpha?" I wink at my mate as he grabs my hand excitedly. "Amanda, misty, yall coming?" I ask.

"As long as yall promise not to steam up the elevator on the way up" Amanda exclaims and we all giggle.

Walking into my office I'm amazed at how beautiful it looks, its way better than I could have imagined it looking.

"This looks amazing lacey" Jessie says.

"Do you see anything that you might be missing?" Lana asks.

"No my office is perfect Lana thank you so much. But I do believe our alpha, his betta and gamma and my beta and gamma could use updates in their offices if you could get with all of them tomorrow sometime?" I say

"very well. I'll be on my way then, Ill verify good times with all of them tomorrow" she says while exiting.

"Lacey you have this luna thing down pat already" Amanda says and everyone agrees.

"I still have so many things to touch base on but it won't be long. plus I have the best system backing me up" I say smiling at all of them.
