Alpha Jessie's surprise mate

Chapter 27

*Michelle pov*

I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off, but I want laceys luna ceremony to be absolutely perfect.

"Oh wow the office looks amazing lacey" I stop to admire it for the first time, she picked out great stuff for in here.

"Thank you, how's everything going? need me to do anything?" lacey asks

"No darling. Just coming to inform you that dresses will be here at 9am tomorrow, and party planners will be here at 1 and caterers will be here at 3 for you to do the food sampling and decide what you want to be served." I smile at lacey.

"Wow that took you like no time at all to figure out, thank you so much" lacey says.

"Don't thank me, I want this day to be absolutely perfect for you." I smile and pull her in for a hug.

"I'm gonna go get home and rest for a while I believe I'm exhausted, but add to your calendar that on Saturday you have an appointment for nails and hair at 2pm, the whole salon is reserved so take however many girls you wish to take with you." I say smiling as I exit.

*Lacey pov*

"your mom is seriously the best" I say smiling at Jessie.

"She has loved you and worried about you, and wondered where you were for 17 years already lacey. she's so happy to have you back." he says as he smiles at me.

"Are you done with your meetings for today?" I ask Jessie

"I am, did you need my help with something?" Jessie asks

"Would you be okay with us taking a run? I felt like it would be nice for us to take amanda and Wade with us?" I ask hesitantly. I know Jessie is probably tired.

"I think that's a great idea, I'll ask Wade if him and amanda want to meet us out back in 10 minutes, does that sound good?" Jessie asked

"That sounds perfect." I respond with a smile.

I shut my computer down and headed over to the room so I could change into some more comfortable clothes and shoes. I'm deciding on a sports bra and matching spandex shorts and my white vans. I won't have the clothes on long anyways. But its so hot outside.

"Wade said that would be perfect babe." Jessie says before he looks up at me "Oh no babe, you can't leave the house wearing that, We aren't going to make it out of here before I strip you down and take what I want." Jessie says.

"We have our bettas outside waiting alpha." I say reminding Jessie that we had already asked them to go with us.

"ughhh I spoke too soon." he says jokingly.

"I'm free when we return, and you can do whatever you'd like." I say turning towards him and leaning down to kiss him while he's lying on the bed.

"Whatever I want?" he repeats me asking for verification.

"Whatever you want alpha, I'm all yours." I say and a low growl erupts from his chest. I kiss him once more and then I go to the bathroom to pull my hair up into a ponytail. Jessie comes up behind me and snakes his arms around my waist.

"I've never seen a mark that looks similar to mine and yours" Jessie says.

"What do you mean? is something wrong with it? I ask worriedly because I don't know what it's supposed to look like.

"No not at all. They are beautiful actually, and way more detailed than any mark I've ever seen before." he says proudly and it makes my heart swell.

I look closer and pay more attention to every little piece of it. There is a red half-moon, with a crown sitting on top, a white wolf is on one side and a black wolf is on the other side. Our marks truly are beautiful. I never imagined they would look this good.

"I don't know what marks typically look like, but I do know that I'm proud of mine, and I want everyone to see it. " I say to Jessie and he smiles his gorgeous smile

"Is that a blush on your face?" I ask in amusement.

"Never.... yeah maybe a little bit. But you can't run around telling no one that you made the big bad alpha blush, they will think I'm going soft." Jessie looks at me seriously and then burst into laughter.

"Well let's go run. You can show off your big bad wolf and earn some intimidation points back" I say joking and we head out back.

I have never really noticed how beautiful the back of the packhouse is. There is a huge garden area to the left and right with a walkway in between them. further down there is another walkway that heads to the center of the platform but there is a pool on each side of the walkway . I'm debating jumping in there because it's so hot. As soon as I start thinking about it I see amanda eyeballing the pool too.

"Last one there is a wimp and a loser." I scream and we take off. she almost beats me but I trip her and jump in first. We proceed to have a mini wrestling session in the water before we hop out and run back to the guys.

"They very well may be more violent than we are." Wade says to Jessie with a blank expression.

We all laugh and head for the woods.

We all take a step behind trees and place our clothes somewhere that we will find them on the way back.

Once everybody is shifted we take off running through the woods and I know exactly where I'm going. The waterfall. Once we get there I come to a screeching halt because I overestimated the distance I had left and Amanda's wolf Rose knocks into me pushing me into the water. She flips her tail at me a few times, basically saying ha ha as pay back for me tripping her, but it's short lived because Wade tosses her in also.

I watch carefully as my mate lays on the edge watching happily but I know he's up to something. he waits until no one is suspecting to dive bomb Wade and then swims over to me. We nip and play with each other for a bit before we get out of the water for a good game of tag. Before I know it we all 4 are playing last man standing, you have to be very sneaky and quiet, but the goal is to tag all 3 other people without getting tagged yourself. I won, but me and my Mate were a close tie for the win. We are all tired from running, playing, and wrestling but we still have to make the run back to the packhouse so we decide to go ahead and head back.

*Guys when we get back I'd like us all to sit down and talk about a few things* I say through mind-link as we are all running back.

I felt a pang of worry through the mate bond.

I glance at Jessie and he is giving me a concerned look.

*Nothing to worry about alpha* I say to only him.

We get back and change into our clothes quickly. I had mindlinked Jake and asked him to start a fire in the fire pit and asked the cooks to move our food out here for tonight.

When we get close enough to the house, I can see the amusement on my mates face.

"Did you do this? Jessie asked.

"Yeah I did, If you don't wanna eat put here we can go in it's no biggie." I say

"No I think this was a great idea little luna. I wish I had more time outside, so this is perfect." he says smiling.

We began eating and all the topics I wanted to discuss are coming up.

"So there's a few things I needed to discuss with you guys. I'm sure yall all know I picked amanda as my beta, misty as my gamma, and for my 2 guards, I chose Jake, and Joseph." I say. Everybody nods.

"I think I speak for everyone when I say those were great choices lacey." my mate says.

"Okay good, the next thing I wanted opinions on, is what to do about Regina. I wanted to give her time and make her think I forgot, but she tried to poison both of us and then challenged me for my title at your birthday party." I say

I hear amanda choke on her food.

"That b***h did WHAT???" she says.

"Yeah you guys missed it, lacey put the smackdown on Regina last night, she put wolvesbane in my drink and put xanax in laceys" Jessie says.

"We are terrible betas. I should have been there" Amanda says looking upset.

"No. I understand completely why you 2 weren't there. and we were at the alphas party. we shouldn't need consistent back up and monitoring while we are in our own pack. that was just a shitty move on Regina's part. But now I have to figure out a punishment, I don't want to banish her. because then she is just going to move on and make somebody else's luna miserable. I want to find a job for her that forces her to stay here doing something she will hate. I say.

"I vote the dungeon" Amanda says.

"She's too weak. she will die down there really quick and then I won't get to see her suffer long enough." I blurted out before thinking about it.

my mate is staring at me with an amused smile on his lips.

"She was definitely made for you. and that's all I can say" Wade says to Jessie.

"What do you guys think about making her cook and clean up for the prisoners? then she atleast gets the chance to see what punishment she could have got, but she has to cook and clean up urine and feces behind them too? I say giggling.

"I think that's actually perfect" Jessie says and they all agree.

"okay I'll handle that in a few. but one last thing I wanted to discuss."

"Alright shoot." Jessie says

everybody is really paying attention now because the saying "save the best for last. I'm really hoping this doesn't get turned down.

"I want to start pack training for the she-wolves. I think it is important that all the women know how to atleast protect themselves. but I have also seen some women here that I believe can take your warriors head on and beat them. The guys will take it too easy on them in training. So I was thinking train them in a women only training class first. And then once they reach sufficient levels add them onto the regular training with the men, once the men realize they aren't fragile they will spar with them as equals. That would greatly help the patrol guards numbers and reduce risk of rogue attacks or any other threats" I finish and look at everyone else's expression.

Amanda has her mouth wide open.

Wade is staring at Jessie.

Jessie is giving me an interesting look that I haven't seen yet.

"And who do you propose will train these women little mate? Jessie asked.

"My gamma was the strongest female fighter in her old pack, she will do it majority of the time and me and Amanda will step in to help some days also" I respond.

"Get them ready to start training on Monday." Jessie says and I'm thrilled. he actually said yes. Now I need to set up a meeting with every woman in the pack so I can see who all to expect at training.

"is that all little mate?" Jessie asks

"That was all" I say still smiling and finishing my food.

We joke and talk about other stuff until we are all ready to call it a day. and then I remembered what I told Jessie before we left.
