Alpha Jessie's surprise mate

Chapter 32

Me and Jessie rush into the packhouse to the kitchen where the caterers are waiting.

"I'm sorry to keep you all waiting we had some buisness to take care of" Jessie says with a small smile as he pulls my seat out for me and motions for me to sit.

"Well we weren't bored alpha, we have a pretty decent view out of this window" the man known as Roger says while giving a quick smile.

"Hello luna lacey, Its a pleasure to meet you, you are a beautiful woman indeed, shall we start?" Roger says giving a small smile. I only nod my head because this man gives me a weird feeling.

My mate grabs my hand and shoots me a small smile. We taste test all of our options before me and Jessie decide to go with a less formal option, we are feeding a bunch of wolves after all. There is nothing more loved than steak. We choose 3 different main course options, Steak, Lasagna, And a seafood broil along with multiple sides options and breads to choose from. For the cake we decided on a large 3 tier cake, each of the layers will consist of 3 different flavors, red velvet, marble, and pink lemonade. the outside decoration of the cake is a beige colored buttercream icing with gold flake and burgundy roses. The design is beautiful and I can only hope as much for the final product. Now that we are done it's time to get back to buisness.

"How are things going so far with Michael's men?" Jessie asks Wade as we approach.

"Alpha, Luna, I think you both need to listen to this." Wade says with a worrisome expression.

Jessie steps forward to face all of the men and Wade speaks again "Go ahead and tell alpha jessie what you disclosed with me." Wade says

"Alpha I think it would be best for you to just go with us back to silver moon and see for yourself, the horrors that occur in that pack are unexplainable" the head warrior says.

"What is your name?" Jessie asks the man.

"I'm Mathew" he says with a small nod.

Jessie simply nods at the man and pulls Wade outside of the room for a discussion he gives me a knowing look like he would like for me to follow "You too little luna. go ahead and mindlink your betta and gamma also" he says and I do.

Once we step outside of the packhouse doors the conversation begins.

Jessie- Do you think this is a setup?

Wade- I really don't think so alpha, they are saying the pack members are being severely mistreated

Misty- I say we go and see for ourself alpha, it is you and the Lunas pack now also so we need to get things rolling and connect all the new members

Amanda- I agree, their territory is also right against ours, it's only an hour drive to their packhouse.

aliyah comes forward and I allow it.

Aliyah- I can tell you forsure what we can expect when we get there if you'd like

Jessie- How?

Aliyah- just like I displayed my vision on the stage the day of the rogue attack. I can display what is on other people's mind as well if they allow it.

Jessie- Okay little luna. let's see this first and then we will determine how we go from there.

Jessie looks at me with a confused expression as he turns to walk back into the house.

I glance around at the warriors thst are sitting, if I want the truth then I need to pick the most vulnerable out of the group. Sitting closer to the back is a younger warrior, he looks like he's just barely old enough to even be a guard.

"What is your name?" I asks pointing at him.

He stands quickly at attention "I'm Robert, luna" he says with a quick bow of his head.

"Robert what if I told you I could read your mind and display your thoughts, would you allow me to do that, so i can be sure we are not walking into a trap?" I say.

"Absolutely luna, go ahead." he says.

His willingness took me by surprise.

I reachcout to grab his hand and hear a low growl from my mate when Robert quickly removes his hand. "I appologize alpha I'm only doing what the luna asks" he says. "Jessie should I continue?" I ask as he nods hesitantly.

I take Robert's hand back in mine and ask him to please be still and relax.

I close my eyes and imagine the circle around us again just like I did before on the stage.

I can see the visions in my head just as everyone else can see them displayed above where me and Robert are standing.

It is horrific, everything is dirty and abandoned looking. Once his memory takes us into the main gate of the pack territory, we travel through that atrocity for a bit down a road, there are wolves lined up on the road, obviously very poor members of the pack. The children all look neglected and everything is filthy, we continue before we come to another gate that is heavily guarded. We enter that gate and there is a beautiful area with immaculent landscaping, the streets are flawless, There is multiple houses surrounding what I could only imagine is the pack house a large pool, and a couple shops. I end the vision because I am confused.

"What is going on Robert? why does the pack look so abandoned and dirty in one area and so beautiful in others" I ask

"The dirty and very poverty ridden area is where the members of the pack live, the very well kept area is where the alpha and the higher ranked members of the pack live." he says in embarrassment.

I look at my mate with tears forming in my eyes, and he quickly grabs me.

Jessie begins barking orders

"Wade, amanda get notebooks and be back here in 2 minutes" he snaps and both of them run off.

He hugs me and rubs my back, "it's okay little mate, we are going to fix this, today, I promise you" Jessie says as he kisses my forehead.

amanda and Wade return with notebooks ready to take notes and Jessie begins.

"write all these things down, I want you two to split the list when we are done and delegate these jobs out to whoever handles those issues." they both nod and Jessie begins.

"We need clothes of all sizes, for children, women, and men. We need a disaster relief truck, fully stocked with non parisheable food, water, and medications. We need a team of architects and construction workers. A medical team, atleast 50 volunteers, and Someone to go rent 10 charter busses. I need everybody to get this done and be back here within 2 hours." he says in a commanding tone.

"I'm calling a pack meeting, have misty go out to the platform and explain this to everyone to get as much help as necessary. Give one of the pack credit cards to the people leading each team so they can gather or purchase all needed supplies." he orders and amanda and Wade rush out to fill misty in and get started.

"Little luna let's go up to my office and overview the maps." Jessie says and I follow.

He lays out a very large map on his planning table it has our entire pack territory in the middle. We can see the territory of all neighboring packs, including silver moon. "What are you thinking little luna?" Jessie asks.

"If it was up to me, I would place enough houses here to maintain all the new members" i say pointing to the mid way point of silver moon and blood moon territories, I would extend our fence to include the entire territory of silver moon, once we get all the pack members settled at this location, I think we should build another pack house between here and the silver moon packhouse for us to stay in permanently so we are in more of a centralized area. The betas can share our current packhouse, and our gammas can share the silvermoon packhouse as it will be next to the training grounds. The more houses we build for members the better, it give us more room for expansion. I propose that with the area in silver moon thst was neglected, we use for training purposes for our warriors instead of demo, we can set up bootcamps and exercises for the warriors using weapons etc. in the old broken down houses." I finish and take a deep breath.

"Little luna you are a genius. It is going to be a lot of work, so let's get these people taken care of and we will begin construction as soon as your luna ceremony is over." Jessie says as he pulls me on his lap and kisses me. "Okay Little mate we need to go eat and hydrate, who knows how long we will be out there, we need to make sure we have energy" Jessie says and I agree.

We head down to the kitchen, it's been an hour since the orders were handed out and it looks like it's coming together. Amanda canceled the meetings for the interior designer to look at offices. I'm slightly upset that mine just got finished and now I will have to abandon it to move soon. However amanda will love it and put it to good use.

Me and Jessie sit to eat and Wade enters the kitchen. "I know it early but we are all done and everything is ready." Wade says. Me and Jessie shovel our food in our mouths and grab a couple waters and head out. Jessie overviews all of the trucks to be sure they are stocked properly and we jump in the SUV thats parked up front so that we can leave.
