Alpha Jessie's surprise mate

Chapter 25

*Laceys pov*

"That was so intense, I've never felt something so amazing Jessie" I say as I lay my head on his chest.

*I love you little mate*

"Jessie how do I hear you in my head?" I ask shocked.

"ha ha that's a mind-link little mate, now that we are marked you are officially a member of the pack, you can communicate with anyone in the pack that way. You just think of thr person you want to speak to and say what you want to say, it takes some practice but you will get it" he responds smiling at me.

*I love you too my alpha* I respond and Jessie stairs at me.

"You're a natural at everything you do baby" Jessie says with a huge smile on his face.

"Tomorrow things will be different lacey, I ordered everyone away from the packhouse until I brought you here and got you settled, but everyone that works here will be back tomorrow and I have meetings in the morning. My mother and amanda will be ready early in the morning to start discussing you taking over the luna position". he says with his eyes narrowed searching my face.

"That sounds great Jessie, im ready." I say smiling

"Really? if it's too much just tell them to leave you alone seriously we have time to let you adjust" Jessie says while holding my hand.

"Don't doubt me alpha, I've got this under control, piece of cake" I say winking.

"Ha ha. I have no doubts about you little mate" Jessie says .

We apparently drifted off to sleep, I woke up to Jessie kissing my forehead at 5:30am. "I'm off to the office, if you need me that's where I'll be, I love you little luna". Jessie says

I just groan and roll over, I am not a morning person at all. But I hear Jessie giggle as he walks out. Unfortunately I can't go back to sleep Jessie's warmth is gone and his scent is slightly fading. So I decide to get up and shower. The hot water feels amazing on my body. I began thinking, Jessie marked me and now I can mindlink. I have a feeling amanda is marked by Wade too because she went out of her way to hide her neck last night. she may think she's sneaky but I'm not stupid. I wonder if I can mind link her.

*amanda?*

*amanda- so you've figured out the mindlink, wait.... so you're also marked, you lost your v-card* I hear her shrill voice

*amanda..... shut-up, where are you?* I say laughing

*amanda-Waiting on you of course, I'm in the kitchen*

*I'll be down in just a second*

I closed the link and started getting dressed.

*KNOCK, KNOCK*

"Hey luna lacey, my names misty, I'm the head maid here, I'm here to straighten the room and wash any dirty clothes. Do you need anything?" she says smiling

"Hey misty. Just call me lacey. That won't be necessary. I will do the laundry, thank you" I respond

"Oh. uhm, okay. are you sure?" she says hesitantly.

"I'm sure misty. thank you." I say smiling she nods and heads out of the room.

I quickly get ready and change the sheets on our bed and make it. I head down to the kitchen.

"Well good morning Lacey" Amanda and michelle both say

"Good morning ladies how are we doing this morning?" I ask as I'm pouring myself some juice and taking a seat with them.

"Good, you ready to get started on luna training?" michelle asks.

"I'm ready" I say smiling.

"The first thing we need to do is pick out the furniture for your office, we can do it by online order or we can go to the store and look in person whichever you prefer" michelle says.

"Uhm, let's do online order I kinda hate shopping" I say laughing

"We have that in common dear" michelle says

"Better yet I'll call the interior designer Lana, She is always great with suggestions" michelle says.

We sit around eating breakfast waiting for her to show up and we quickly get to work when she gets here. I picked out my desk and my lounge area furniture as well as paint scheme, rugs, TV computer, phone, filing cabinet etc.

"Well that was easy enough Luna lacey, when would you like it to be finished?" she asked, and I didn't know how to answer.

"Yesterday" says michelle smiling.

"Ha ha, very well michelle, I think our earliest available finish time is 5pm this afternoon" Lana says.

"That sounds great Lana thank you" I respond. That's much quicker than I expected.

*Aliyah- Lacey get the kids and women to the bunker, notify the alpha.... Rogues at east border, will breach soon*

I jump out of my seat.

"Lacey what's wrong?" says amanda as fear is etched on my face.

"Get all the kids and women to the bunkers now" I say as michelle and amanda take off running.

*Jessie rogues at the east border. they will breach the border soon, I've already ordered the women and kids to the bunker*

*Jessie- Where are you now mate?*

*kitchen. what do I do?*

*Jessie-Our room now*

I run as quickly as I can.

"Stay here don't come out" Jessie orders

"Jessie I want to help" I whine

"You just helped by giving everyone a heads up. stay here we will discuss it when I come back" he orders. so I sit down on the bed sulking. he kisses me on the forehead and runs out of the room.

*Are all the women and children in the bunkers amanda?*

*amanda- yes whats going on?*

*Aliyah says rogues are about to breach the eastern borders*

*amanda- how does she know that lacey?*

*She knows about future events before they happen sometimes*

*amanda- you probably just saved some lives, blood moon hasn't had a rogue attack in forever, I know they probably wouldn't have been prepared*

*Let's just see what happens*

I feel anger through the bond and then fury, and then blinding rage. what is happening right now? I can't handle not knowing.

*Aliyah-Our man is out there kicking rogue ass, he will be back in a minute" I giggle a little at her response.

A couple minutes later I hear the elevator open I can smell his scent as soon as he starts walking down the hallway. He walks in and kisses me. "You need to come downstairs lacey. we have some explaining to do" he says in a worried tone.

"Whats wrong jessie" I ask

"The pack members want to know how you knew" they find it suspicious

I sigh and stand up to head back to the platform outside.

Everyone is standing by quietly waiting. some warriors are bloody but it's not theirs. everybody looks confused and curious.

I get up on the stage with Jessie and my Mate begins.

" The things I'm about to tell you all will take a while to explain. This is a very long story. And I need complete focus on me. Maybe after all this is done you can respect how lucky you are to have lacey as your luna." Jessie says and everybody shifts around uncomfortably.

"Before we begin can the parents please send children to the nursery, I will be showing you something when my mate finishes that I don't think is fitting for little eyes" I say loudly and mothers begin sending their children with Jessica and amber the nursery caregivers.

Jessie looks at me in confusion but I wave it off. I sit down as Jessie tells the story of my life. everything that happened before, during, and after my birth up until this point, as well as the discovery of my wolves special abilities.

"So you see, there is nothing suspicious about my mates warning of the rogue attack. It was in fact a blessing because who knows what could have happened had we not had the warning" Jessie says.

"Actually, I know exactly what would have happened and I can show them" I say.

Jessie looks at me with his eyes wide as does the rest of the pack.

"How lacey?" Jessie asks.

"Just take a step back please." I say

Jessie's face turns into a pained expression at me asking him to move away. But I needed space. I followed Aliyahs directions exactly as she said I opened my arms widely and displayed above my body was a large projection of aliyahs vision. Everybody gasped and cried as they watched the unfortunate ending to how the scenario would have played out, but when I heard the blood curdling scream from the mother in the group that would have lost her 4 year old pup to the rogues I began crying. when the vision ended my energy depleted and I sat on the stage crying . multiple members asked my mate to approach so they could give me a hug and thank me. and it felt nice having their support.

"I honestly hope that My luna has everyone's full support at this point. she just prevented our pack from a significant trauma, the moon goddess has blessed our pack by giving us lacey and I want everyone to recognize and appreciate that." Jessie says as he picks me up and carries me inside.

I can feel anger radiating off of Jessie

"Are you upset with me? I ask Jessie as he sits me down in the kitchen and wraps his arms around me.

"How could I be mad at you little mate? you're a better luna then I could ever ask for, I am irritated that people still chose to question my mate after they met you yesterday" he says.

"Just because I am your mate does not mean I get a free pass to everyone's trust, I have to earn it Jessie, just like you and everyone else, and I understand that, I'm fine with that." I say

Jessie looks at me with admiration.

"Let's get your luna ceremony planned for as soon as youre ready" he says as he kisses me and walks back to his office.

Michelle and amanda were so quiet

that I didn't even notice them sitting here.

"When will you be ready lacey? because I believe you're ready now" michelle says.

"Let's see how long planning will take and schedule it for then." I respond.

"You also have to pick a beta, a gamma, and 2 warriors to have as your personal detail" michelle explains.

"that will be the easy part, let's plan it for next Sunday. that gives us a full week to plan." I say.

I hear michelle send out a mindlink
