I jump out of the car and grab my bags and walk straight to my mate.

"You know it's their job to carry your bags for you right? Jessie says while side eyeing Jake and Sam and giving me a small smile.

"I'm your mate. not incapable. I can carry my own bags. Is everything okay? you look really stressed." I say.

"I really like hearing you say that you're my mate." Jessie says with a huge smile and I smile back before he continues "I'm honestly nervous to see my parents. I haven't seen them in almost a year, and now they are coming to share information and meet you and I don't even know the full extent of what they are going to tell you." he explains.

"I thought they lived right here on pack lands. just not in the packhouse with you?" I ask.

"They do but they have been traveling and spending time away since my father retired as alpha." he answers.

"I see. well I'm not sure that I can make you feel any better, not right now anyways, but I do have a surprise for later, if that helps take your mind off the stressful situation right now." I say with a seductive smile.

I watch Jessie swallow hard when he asks "what's the surprise." I grab his face and kiss him and then slowly but tenderly drag my fingernails down his chest, over his amazing abs and lightly tuck my fingertips in the waist band of his pants "oh alpha it wouldn't be very exciting if I told you now what you should expect later. would it? I send him a wink before hopping in the elevator and rushing up to my room and placing my bags down so I can find an outfit to change into and freshen up my makeup and hair before the former alpha and luna get here. Jessie reaches for my hand and I follow him to the elevator to go downstairs. I'm nervous but I manage to keep my composure as long as I have my mates hand in mine. I take a deep breath before the elevator doors open.
