"WHY would you lie to me? Wade you are my beta, my right hand, the entire f*****g pack survives on us being able to trust each other. Why would you lie to me of all people, your best friend?" Jessie asks looking hurt.

Wade looks down at the floor for a moment and amanda grabs his hand.

"I didn't want to take your focus off of lacey, or the things you were investigating at the school. I was there to help you with that and I didn't want to be distracted." Wade says

"But yet you were, I asked you multiple times what your deal was and if something was going on with Amanda and you said no, you just straight up lied to me. Don't treat me like I'm cold Wade. You could have told me a long time ago that amanda was your mate. Did you think about rogue attacks or anything like that while you were withholding this information? Because axel easily could have turned his back on you for not granting him his mate, and you could have got your packmates or even me seriously hurt?" Jessie says

"I'm gonna leave it at that. I already knew amanda was your mate. I was waiting on you to tell me. please don't ever lie to me again. I'm happy for you both though, I know my mate is also happy that amanda will be even closer than expected." Jessie says reaching his hand out to give Wade a hug and the same for amanda.

Me and Amanda step back smiling while they have their bro moment.

Michelle and James walked in and I was pretty shocked, I didn't expect them here. Followed them was an older lady and man carrying a large cake to sit on the island at the food area. They walked over and gave us all hugs.

"Just letting you know your dad has planned a speech." michelle says to Jessie

"ughhh" Jessie groans and michelle laughs at him

"Wade is it okay for James to announce that you have found your mate?" michelle asks

Wade glances at Amanda and she gives a small nod and smiles.

"very well let's get this done then." James says and smiles.

"Excuse me everyone" James announces, the music cuts and everyone gets quiet, even though he is the former alpha he still demands attention effortlessly.

"I'm not here on buisness tonight, I'm here to proudly tell my son happy birthday, and while this is a special day it is more special for him because he has officially found his mate, His beta Wade has also found his mate, Our pack has significantly grown in strength today all because of my son. Tonight is indeed a night for celebration, for my son, and the blood moon pack." he yells and everyone erupts in cheers.

*Jessie pov*

I'm not gonna lie my father is definitely a good hype man. I'm happy to see my pack so cheerful, my mate is happy, my beta is happy, everything has been perfect Tonight. But my mind keeps drifting back to what's going to happen when I leave here and get back to my room with lacey. I think that lacey believes I'm hesitant to mark her, I'm not. I want to mate and mark her so bad I can't handle it, that's what I'm scared of, I know without lacey telling me that she is a virgin. I don't want to hurt her. But I've wanted her so bad that I don't know how well i will be able to control myself. I've never wanted anyone, I've seen women and thought they looked good, but I've never wanted someone. Lacey is so different, it's killing me not to touch her constantly or be near her the entire time. She smells so good, I could just stare at her all day and be the happiest man ever. I'm caught deep in my thoughts when I look up and see lacey staring at me. The way she did her makeup tonight makes her eyes look even more seductive and her Long curly hair looks like it needs my hands tangled up in it. I loved the burgundy dress she was wearing so much but this black dress is just as hot. She has such a tiny waist but her hips and ass are so thick. I can't wait to have her completely naked in our bed. I can't wait to hear her scream my name.

By the time I snap out of it and glance around majority of the room is staring at us. It appears lacey might have been in a trance also.

"Well you could cut this s****l tension with a butter knife." Wade exclaims loudly. Everybody around us chuckles including me and my little mate blushes.

I step behind her and wrap my hands around her. Me and her have downed about 7 drinks and neither of us have a buzz at all. My girl can hang.

The music changes up and me and Lacey dance, my girl can dance too, "I am the luckiest man on this planet." I whisper in laceys ear. If she doesn't stop rubbing her ass on me we will have to leave early.

Everybody was enjoying seeing their alpha relaxed and having a good time. I was usually strict and no games. But I was having fun, actual fun, for the first time since I was a young teenager probably. Me and Lacey, Wade and amanda, most of my warriors and their mates, we were all gathered around and laughing and joking, dancing and drinking, the night couldn't get any better, while we were here anyways.

Lacey glances up at me so I lean down to kiss her. "I think its time we go to bed Alpha" lacey whispers in my ear, it made my d**k twitch in my pants. "I believe it is little mate." I whisper back.

"Alright guys, we are heading out, it's late and we've had a crazy day." Jessie announces

"uh-huh, go seal the deal alpha." Amanda announces and everyone laughs.

I look over and see my mate send amanda the bird, I burst out laughing grabbing her hand to try to ease her blushing.

The walk home felt like it was taking forever. Me and Lacey both had so much tension built up we couldn't get there fast enough. In the elevator lacey finally lost it, she practically pounced on me . She wrapped her legs around me and grabbed my face with both hands and kissed me hungrily, things were getting hot quickly.
