Alpha Jessie's surprise mate

Chapter 35

We got home and we got everyone settled on, some of the younger couples opted to Stay in the condos, other families had homes available. And unfortunately quite a few kids had been added to the pack orphanage that has been empty and closed for a while. I have everyone started on a task to get the orphanage set up and fixed perfectly so that all the children can be comfortable. Upon our arrival back to blood moon my mate gave a very detailed speech about what is expected of our pack to make our new members comfortable. Elizabeth took me up on the offer for free healthcare and immediately went to the pack hospital because of a pain she's been experiencing regularly. Dr. Rice mind linked me and asked me to come down to the hospital and I did, but he of course did not have any good news for me, Elizabeth was sick, very sick, and wasn't expected to live for more than a month. That poor woman had made it out of the prison that she called her pack only to be told she would die. I spoke to Elizabeth for a short while about all sorts of things, but she specifically asked me to take care of Amy's baby and to make sure she got placed in a good home. Elizabeth wouldn't be getting released from the hospital, they would keep her there and try to keep her out of pain as much as possible until her last day arrived. Once Elizabeth fell asleep I went to check on the little one, she was in the pediatric area on the other end of the hospital. She was so tiny, and so beautiful, she was tan probably thr same complexion as me, she also had bright green eyes and dark hair, I wonder what they named her? I asked the nurse for the babies name and she stated that Elizabeth had not gave the baby a name that she was still trying to decide. I held the baby for a short time and rocked her before my mate showed up. "Well hello little Luna, who do you have there?" Jessie asked

"Uhm I'm honestly not sure, she hasn't been given a name, she's precious though isn't she?" I asked while admiring the babies precious face.

"Of course she is little mate, may I ask what buisness brought you here?" Jessie says

"Dr.rice wanted to speak to me about Elizabeth, it turns out she is terminally sick and she won't be leaving here, she only has about a month to live." I say with my head down.

"I'm sorry Lacey. I know you want to save everyone, but the goddess has her reasons and we have to trust that." Jessie says while looking at me concerned.

"I know, Elizabeth's only request is that I find an amazing home for this sweet baby girl." I say as I tell him the story about Elizabeth's best friend Amy and how the baby basically became an orphan.

"That's terrible little luna, I'm so sorry. I swear pack buisness is not usually this hard, this has been a really rough week for you." Jessie says.

"I think I know something that could make me feel better." I say with a wink and Jessie releases a low growl. "So you take me to get icecream then?" I say jokingly while I put the baby back into her crib. "The icecream can wait little mate I have other matters to attend to first." Jessie says as he picks me up and puts me over his shoulder. "I'm kinda getting caveman vibes. I like it" I say giggling as Jessie smacks my butt cheek and I accidently let out a small moan. Jessie carries me all the way to the car and drives us back to the packhouse. He picks me back up once we've exited the car and carries me inside. Wade and amanda are in the living room area and Wade begins to speak "uhh excuse me alpha, you gotta minute? Wade asks nervously. "Is it life or death wade?" Jessie asks. "Uhm no sir not at all." Wade says. "Then it can wait" Jessie replies. I hear amanda and Wade giggling as we walk into the elevator. Jessie wasted no time ripping my clothes off as soon as we entered our room, 2 hours later my mate had surprised me again, every time we had s*x it just kept getting better and better. After our shower we were both exhausted so we quickly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to the sun on my face and I know I've overslept. What's most surprising is that my mate is still here wrapped around me in the bed. I chose not to get up because I don't want to wake him and the moment to end too quickly.

"I'm already awake little luna." Jessie says smiling.

"So I guess that means you have to take off now?" I say with a lip stuck out in a pouting fashion.

"Actually little luna. Today we work together.... if you have time that is? Jessie asks.

"Of course I do alpha" I respond with a big smile.

"Let's go eat some breakfast and then let's call our betas to your office" Jessie says.

"Jessie where and who is your gamma?" I ask curiously, because I've never thought of it, he has talked of him but I've never met him.

"My gammas name is Marcus, you haven't met him because I sent him away on other pack buisness, but he will be back later today, to meet you and help prepare for your ceremony and the construction, I must warn you he has a very weird sense of humor, and is quite annoying, but he has been my friend since we were only 3 or 4" Jessie says smiling.

"I'm sure he's great" I smile at Jessie as I begin to get dressed for the day.

"Luna did you hear the conversation last night between Roman and aliyah?" Jessie asked me.

"I didn't, care to fill me in?" I ask

"I can't, I don't remember what they were talking about, I just remember that at some point I heard them." he says shrugging his shoulders.

Me and Jessie go downstairs to eat breakfast and amanda, Wade and misty are down here eating as well.

"Well it seems as if everyone slept in a little bit later than usual, we should all be well rested and prepared for today's events" Jessie says and we all snap our heads towards him.

"Please don't tell me it's something strenuous, my body is begging me for a break" I groan.

"I bet it is, after all that yelling and screaming you were doing last night, not including all the bad-assery you released at the new pack yesterday." Amanda says with a giggle.

Jessie is standing there smiling as big as he can, "Proud of yourself aren't you alpha?" I ask

"Oh I'm super proud" Jessie says laughing.

We finish eating and go upstairs to my office with Amanda and Wade and misty goes to check on the new pack members to make sure everyone is adjusting.

"So today's task is going to be figuring out how we are going to start the new construction. And figuring out exactly what we want to build." Jessie says as he's bringing out the map. I kind of ruined the initial plan by burning down the silvermoon packhouse, but that place had to go. So now we are overviewing the map again.

"I think I have a plan" Amanda says.

"Let's here it" Jessie says

"okay so the Lunas idea of moving the main packhouse to a more centralized location was golden. I think we should stick with that, and then we leave this building here for our offices, lacey just got her office perfect and she's not going to want to give it up. It would be a 5 minute drive or a 2 minute run if we shift to get here, that's not an inconvenience to any of us. In that case the alpha could still have his office here as well as the luna, we could change our bedrooms on the 3rd floor here into an office for me and Wade, and so could the gammas on the 2nd floor!" Amanda says, scanning everyone for responses.

"That sounds great to me" Jessie responds.

"Perfect babe" Wade says.

All I can think to say is "thank you", my best friend knew how excited I was about this office, she also knew all my first memories were here on this floor with Jessie and that I wouldn't want to give it up.

"Okay so thats settled, what are ideas for the new packhouse then?" Jessie asks

"Honestly. I know it's going to be a lot, and I would need to know a budget amount." I say but Jessie cuts me off.

"There is no limit, you design what you want." Jessie says.

"In that case, since we are expanding, I would like to do something much bigger, I would like to be able to fit all the pack members in so we can do meals together, food always unites people, in order for us to be strong we need to be close. I think the same concept as we have here would be great just larger. The bottom floor would the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms of course, the second floor would be also accessible by everyone, we could have the living room, with tvs, gaming systems for the kids and teenagers, and plenty of couches and seating. The 3rd floor would be guest rooms for any visiting alphas or family. The 4th floor would be for the gammas, the 5th floor would be for the betas, and the 6th floor would be for alpha and me. I also propose that we have a large swimming pool, big enough to accommodate the pack but maybe putting it off towards one side or the other that way we have a big open area for stage and seating for special events. and maybe to the other side to balance it out we place a bar, where members including children can grab a drink or smaller grill items at any time." I finish and look at my mate for his reaction.

"Damn little mate, you really do have this all figured out. That sounds perfect to me, I will have the architect start up drawings of exactly what you just said and we will review them when he's finished, does that sound good to you? Jessie asks and I smile and nod.

"Last but not least, the plans for the training grounds, where silver moon used to be located?" Jessie says looking at each of us.

"I vote we build a large gymnasium, install plenty of showers, and a storage room for equipment. I also think we should have someone mark out a 2 mile circle track and place the outdoor training field inside of the track." I say.

"Everybody in favor of training grounds plan?" Jessie asked and everyone says yes.

"Well damn that would have took me and Wade all day" Jessie says as he laughs and playfully elbows his beta.

*Dr.rice- Luna, I think you should go ahead and come down to the hospital, Elizabeth isn't doing well*

"Jessie I have to go, that was dr.rice, Elizabeth isn't doing well I need to get there." I say

"Wade, turn the papers into the architect asap, im going with lacey to the pack hospital, tell him to leave the blue prints on my desk and I will call him once I've reviewed them." Jessie says and Wade nods.

We jump in the car as quickly as possible and rush to get there. I have a really bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.
