"Saphrine," I called out but she was too numb to her surroundings, her head rested against Gavin's knee and her eyes we too clouded by tears. "Saph, look at me," I shouted, this time gaining her attention. Her eyes lit up at the sight of Ben slowly moving his mouth around the open wound on my wrist. "Ben..." She moved across the ground and stopped at his feet. There was hope in her eyes and I didn't want to lose that so I needed her help so I could tend to Gavin too. "Saph, I need you to grab the knife behind you." She looked confused but grabbed it anyway, turning back to me and going to hand it over. I shook my head at her, I had one hand free and there was no way I would be able to cut myself with one hand. "You need to do it, I can't move this hand. Please, cut me."
