Part 24 - Dad
I was still a little shocked that Jule had agreed to help me. I assumed he would turn me down in favour of staying on Ben's good side, but this guy was full of surprises. After throwing on a hoodie over my pyjamas and a pair of shoes, I ran down to the front door to wait for him. The moon was high in the sky and it was probably time to crawl into bed and get some sleep but I had more pressing matters to attend to. I wondered if my father knew what I had planned, did he know I would try to contact him? Was he expecting me to come sooner? My thoughts were interrupted as I heard men's voices muffled coming from outside the house. They grew louder which only meant one thing, they were getting closer.
