I have applied to work in many companies in California and I had no doubt that I will get into one. Of course, not all, but I had confidence that I certainly will not end up with a job. Reason being, I have an impressive resume—working for Montague Concept alone as Isabella’s assistant is enough of a good image to begin with and not to mention of others.
However, there was still a seed of doubt deep down, buried underneath the pile of soil of a façade I built to shield my doubts. There is still fear that no matter how hard I tried to make myself look perfect, no matter how clean I polish my slate to be, a stain from the past will show up and ruin all that.
