Nathaniel “Wake up, dude.” Dylan’s voice shook me from sleep as his arm nudged my shoulder. I blinked my eyes open, still groggy from the flight. “Are we about to land?” I asked, my voice rough. “Yeah,” he replied, his tone clipped but calm. “We’ll be landing in Moscow in half an hour.” I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and tried to shake off the fog. “Remind me again, why are we here?” Dylan glanced at me over his laptop screen, his fingers still typing. “Grace spotted something in Moscow’s local news. A man was found in the woods without his heart. It’s our best lead on Andromeda.” I nodded, feeling the familiar weight of responsibility settle back over me.
