Ethan After parting from the guys, I mind-linked Rose to let her know I was coming to her room. As I opened the door, the sound of her throwing up and flushing the toilet greeted me. I leaned against the bathroom door as she was rinsing her face. “Are you okay? I thought yesterday was just nerves,” I said gently, concern lacing my voice. “I thought so, too. Probably just a stomach bug,” she replied, her voice weak. “Maybe you should see a pack doctor,” I suggested, trying to hide my worry. “I’ll go if it’s the same tomorrow,” she conceded. I walked over to the bed, sat down, and patted the spot beside me. She joined me, resting her head on my shoulder. There was something so vulnerable in her right now, and I instinctively wrapped an arm around her. “So… did you talk to Nathaniel?”
