Ronan chose the terrace, of course. It felt like the only place that made sense, the same quiet space where they'd almost kissed months ago, where Selena's interruption had once pushed them apart before either of them was ready to admit what was growing between them. Tonight, there would be no interruptions. He'd made sure of that. He arranged everything carefully during the week leading up to it, small details meant to matter without overwhelming the moment with excess. A few candles along the railing, nothing extravagant.
