"I wish he could be here for it." Ivy's voice caught slightly, old grief mixing gently with new joy. "He will be, in his own way. I believe that completely." Diane smiled through her tears. "Now tell me everything. How did he ask? Where? I want every single detail." At the office the following Monday, word spread quickly once Marcus noticed the ring during their usual morning coffee run. "No way."
