She’s trying to convince herself that they did the right thing by snooping, and by leaving Steven’s basement door unlocked for him to follow suit. Michael drives in silence, trying to take in all the new information. “I think we should stop at the store and see if anyone has heard anything else out about our shed.” He says. Chloe nods an agreement before he takes the turn down the lonely center street of their small town. There are men standing on the corner of almost every building holding their rifles and pistols.
