CHAPTER FOUR
"I’m not leavin’ ‘til they come out," states Steven, standing his ground.
"Me either! If we hear screamin’ were breakin’ the doors down," agrees Chloe.
"I don't think that’s a very good idea, kids.” Robert says. “Those boys can handle themselves. We don’t want to make the situation any worse than it already is."
Steven's father keeps a level head, though he doesn’t move from his stance either. Curiosity seems to have frozen him in place. Dumbfounded and looking lost, the three stand around while the upset townsfolk continue to disappear into the surroundings… searching and yelling Misty's name. After about fifteen minutes of silence, Chloe decides John would be upset at them for worrying more about him than Misty. Convinced the girl will be found alive and lost somewhere,
