“This is not happening! Oh no! He promised me back then that I'm gonna be his last wife, yes! his last wife! That was what he said to me then. It's just two years and Senator Dan is planning on getting married to another woman? No, another girl?. It will not work. Am not gonna sit back and watch Senator Dan dump me like trash after all I have been through with him. No wonder he no longer takes my calls and whenever he takes my calls, he is always busy. He no longer comes to my house, he doesn't even care. Yea! I thought as much. I knew something was wrong somewhere. I see the red flags, I just didn't take note or should I say I didn't think of him getting another wife. Oh my gosh! What have I gotten myself into?” Joyce,Senator Dan's fifth wife cried out

“I gave him my all.I gave him my life, my love, my heart, my body. Now this is how he is gonna pay me back. Is there anything wrong with me? I'm I no longer attractive to him? am I no longer the “beautiful baby”. Oh god! I am doomed, I am finished. What am I supposed to do right now?

She hurriedly picked her phone “hello Doris! How are you doing? Please, I think we need to meet soon, there's a problem. Okay”.

Joyce walked up to a mirror with a stick of flaming cigarette in her hand, eyes red looking pissed off.

“Nobody is gonna take my position, I am the favorite and the last. Yes! Anyone that wants to take my position will have to leave for me. You either leave or die. No one dares me. Nobody plays with fire. I don't care who dies or lives. Your actions will determine if you are gonna die or live”.

“I am Joyce! The supposed Billionaire's last wife”. She angrily poured out

“Who is this girl that wants to hijack my precious husband from me? Who is she? Where is she from? What does she even look like? I need to know who this girl is and why she has chosen to waste her precious life for a man who doesn't even care. It's fine! No problem! I am promising her that I am gonna make her life a living hell, her life will turn miserable right before her eyes”. She brags determinedly

Joyce got dressed and met her friend, Doris at the usual chilling spot. When they sat down, people were gawking and drooling at her appearance ad the wife of the Billionaire Senator

“Firstly, we need to gather more information about that girl, we will look for someone who is fit and competent to work with…” Doris suggested

Joyce isn't comfortable sitting at the bar, she immediately got up, walked up to her car,not saying a word to her friend she drove off.

She was sighted at the main gate of Senator Dan's personal Estate creating a scene with the securities. Joyce wants to get in the estate by force but she wasn't allowed in. She was told that the Senator isn't at home but she insisted, shouting on top of her voice

Senator Dan didn't even bulge in his mighty sitting room. He couldn't help but smile as he was sitting there watching Joyce from the camera as she was making a fool of herself.

“What is wrong with her?”

“What does he want that I haven't provided for her?” He hissed irritatedly

Senator Dan doesn't have time for any one right now, even his own family. His whole body, heart and soul was with Elena. His thought everyday was how Elena will be his own. Even his businesses need his attention, he has been thinking about Elena day and night and didn't even know how to fasten the whole process.

Fate seems to be cruel to him because the whole thing is just too slow, also each day is going so slowly. He keeps wondering in his mind why he hasn't heard anything from Elena's family.

“What could be delaying them from taking their decision, after all they already know I don't take a no for an answer. So what exactly is keeping them till this moment. They are supposed to come or send someone to me with the good news. Do I have to be chasing them up and down everytime?. And Victoria is supposed to know better, I am getting impatient and frustrated by the day. Do I have to show them how powerful I am every time before they take a move? What is hard in taking a decision? Didn't they understand that I was even trying to save their family from the usual hunger and poverty. Is it that they are used to that low lifestyle? This kind of lifestyle that countless people can't wait to have, they are supposed to see this as a really huge opportunity that shouldn't slip them by. But no, they are seeing themselves as if they wanted to do me a favour by giving out their daughter to me! Gosh!! I am really pissed right now. Right now, I think I am going to give them an ultimatum before I take action…” Senator Dan keeps talking to himself.

Senator Dan was still busy talking to himself when he got a call from his first wife, Belinda.

He so much respect her, probably because she is her first wife.

“Hey Belinda!

“Belinda I am so sorry I haven't sent the money we talked about,it was a bank issue. And I have been trying to reach out to my bank manager but he said he has been on it since, I guess it's a technical issue…

“For crying out loud Dan,I am not asking you about the money now. You seem to have forgotten that tomorrow is our son's graduation from college,and don't forget you already promised to be there. As a matter of fact you really have to be there. If not, your son will not forgive you. Remember you haven't been to his school ever since he got admission into the school. At least be a better father for once and make it up to him this time around….” Belinda reminded.

“And what is this news I am hearing about you getting married to another woman again? Dan! Are you possessed or what? You are getting married to the sixth Wife? Have you forgotten you have grown up boys and girls already? What the hell is wrong with you Dan? You have more than enough women already, so what are you still doing with the sixth one again? What do you even think you are doing? What kind of footsteps do you want your grown up children to follow? Or do you even think you are getting younger? Oh! because you are fortunate to be wealthy or what?

Are you kidding me right now? Anyways, I am not gonna tell you or dictate what to do to you. It's actually your life,live it the way you wanted it… so let me know when you will be leaving for our son's graduation ceremony tomorrow and remember, I am not taking no for an answer. You have to be there no matter what.. Alright see you later…” Belinda hung up the call.

“She is the only one who has the key to my heart and can turn it anyhow she wants. She gives orders to me which I have to obey as if I am her first son. Belinda! What have you done to me? She is literally my mother.

“Since the past 22 years, the feeling is still strong and fresh in my heart. Wait, maybe because she gave me peace. It's always peaceful being around her… speaking of our son's graduation ceremony! yea! What should I do? What's the plan for tomorrow?

I just have to be there at all costs!!

That is my second son graduating tomorrow…”he brags

Joyce had finally driven out of the estate after she was done constituting nuisance st the gate with the securities.

Senator Dan is still contemplating on how he is gonna be at his son's graduation ceremony tomorrow when his phone started vibrating again

“Who is this one calling me again for goodness sake? Will these people even allow me to breathe? Oh my goodness! I need to get some rest now, I am getting drained..”

“Hello! Who is on the line?” Senator Dan asked who the caller was.

“Senator Dan or what do you call your name? Elena isn't yours, Elena can never be yours. You are just nothing but an old fool. Leave Elena alone or you die Senator. I know you wouldn't want to die for a thing like that, I know you value your life so much. Do yourself a favor by informing her family that you are no longer interested… thank you” the unknown man hung up the call.
