DECIDE HIS FATE

FOUR DECIDE HIS FATE LORD KAEL When I woke up the next morning, the slaves were gone and my c**k was crusted. I stared at it for some couple of moments remembering what I had done with it last night. There were some cuts but those didn't bother me in the least. Took some time for me to wash up. Then I wore my official regalia and headed out. Two of my guards followed me at once and my schedule advisor joined me shortly. He was shorter than I was, and it could have been the reason why I should change him. But Sir Jon knew exactly how to take care of my affairs so I let him stay regardless of his height. "Good morning, my lord," Jon said, his hands hugging the book that contained my past and present schedules. "There is nothing good about this morning," I told him. "Well said, sir. Your guest last night didn't stay the night, my lord." "Why am I not surprised?" I said. "What was his temperament like?" "Angry and full of threats," Jon said. "Did you hear any of those threats?" "Well, he was sure that he wanted to get back at you for trying to have him killed," Jon said. "If he still thinks that I wanted to have him killed, then we should be offensive at least." "Good thinking, my lord. I'll look into that. Should I read your schedules for the day?" We turned a corner that led to my hall. "Well, I know what I'm having next. So we take it one at a time for now. Get back to me after the meeting. Is everyone here yet?" "They are all waiting for you, my lord," Jon said. The doors opened and I walked past my standing advisors and sat at the head of the table. Since Sir John already said everyone was present, I didn't bother to check. "Let's get to the heart of the matter," I announced. "Last night, Elias Thorne arrived as a visitor in my estate. While he was being entertained in my personal chambers, an assassin walked in and shot his weapon. I would have been hit if not for the male slave who jumped and took the bullet. We have assembled this morning to decide his fate." "He should be compensated, in a show of gratitude, my lord," suggested Maureen, the only female advisor on my council. "We don't show gratitude to slaves, Maureen," Damon countered, with a slight chuckle. "They are here to serve us and our purposes. What the slave did last night was part of his servitude to Lord Kael." "That's because you don't have children yet, Damon King," Maureen bit back. "What does having children have to do with this discussion?" Smith asked. "This is about slaves, not offsprings." I let the four of them talk. "Regardless, he put his life on the line. I have never seen a slave do that. Have either of you?" "I have loved one," Boone said, and I looked at him. "But she didn't lay down her life for me like this male slave did." "Why did you fall in love with a slave, Councilman Boone?" "Attraction, my lord. It was something that I could not fight." "What happened to this slave?" "I decided to grant her freedom, just to see if she would stay." "And did she?" Smith asked. "Look at his face, Smith. The answer should already be clear to you. She obviously didn't," Damon said. "He is right. She did not. But she was the only slave I ever loved." It was a shared experience but I don't reveal my past to my advisors. They could see it as my weakness and who knew where the next blow would come from? "Some slaves are worth keeping," Maureen said. "While others are just to serve some purpose." "All my slaves have tasted my c**k one way or the other," Damon bragged. "And I have over fifty of them. They are strictly for pleasure and punishment." There was a time when I f****d and flogged my slaves as the same time. It used to be an heightened form of ecstacy. "What is the decision?" I cut in. They all went with Maureen. "What is this show of gratitude?" I asked. "Make him a favorite," Damon said. "I don't keep favorites," I said. "I know, my lord. But just for show, make him one. Then when he does something questioning, strip him of it. At last, the slave bit the hand that fed him." I sighed. It was agreed upon. "And what about the assassin?" I asked. "We shall find whoever is responsible for it, my lord," Boone promised. "Our scouts are everywhere already. Soon, word will come out." "I do hope Elias Thorne will be convicted," Maureen said. "Why?" "Because I hate his guts." If she hated him, then I had reason to believe that he knew some secret about her. So could she be the one behind the attack on my life or was I just overthinking it? No one said anything else and I got to my feet. "This assembly is dismissed. Jon will give you all instructions on when the next session will be." I walked out and Jon was waiting. "Where is Maren?" "Obviously busy with the slaves in their pen," Jon said. "Tell him to come see me at once. Send a guard instead. And he has to bring the slave to my chambers." "A decision has been made then, my lord?" "It has." "Then I don't think he will be dismissed?" "You can read a situation quite well, Sir Jon." "Asking him to your chambers is a privilege itself, my lord. I figure you want to make him an offer." "I don't make offers to my slaves, Jon. I tell them what needs to be done and they do it." "Well said, my lord. What would you like for breakfast?" "Eggs and bacon. And a female slave to feed me." "As you wish, my lord.' I ended up eating more of the slave than even the food. There was something suddenly off. I wasn't enjoying the s*x anymore. There was less pleasure and all I wanted was to thrust as deep as I could until I came. I just could not take my mind off that slave boy.
