Third person p.o.v.
Zion nodded his head. As much as he didn't want Freya to go home, he could not argue with her reasoning as to why she wanted to. Without speaking a word, Zion set her back onto her feet and began to walk her out of his office to take her home.
Freya had almost took back her words when she saw the regret in Zion eyes but she didn't. As much as she enjoyed her day with Zion, he had physically hurt her. She knows deep down he did not mean to but it scared her that it was able to get that far. Just the thought of him being able to overpower and do with her whatever he pleased really frightened Freya and made her question if this is really what she wanted.
The ride back to her house was silent. Freya was so absorbed in her thoughts that she flinched when Zion rested his hand on her thigh. The flinch only cause Zion to get more upset with himself, resorting to clenching his jaw as the only way to relieve some of the anger.
"Thank you." Freya squeaked as she bang to exit the car upon their arrival
"Freya..."Zion started as he pulled her back before she could leave
"I have no excuse for letting myself get that far. I hope you know it was never my intention to harm you." Zion continued
Freya only nodded hesitantly in response
Before she could make another move to get out, Zion tangled his hands in her hair as he held her head so they looked each other directly in the eyes.
"I will give you some time to rest and think but I will make this clear. I expect a phone call every night because no matter what, you are still mine and that will not change." Zion stressed
A wide-eyed Freya could only open and close her mouth in response. As much as she liked Zion, she wasn't completely sure she could still be with him but now it seems like she no longer has a choice.
"Now give daddy a kiss goodbye. I'll talk to you tomorrow." He cooed before moving in for a toe-curling kiss that expressed exactly how he felt about his Freya.
