It’s always interesting to revisit an older book and prepare a new edition. Pearl Beyond Price was originally published in 1995 with a cover by Judy York. Although it was never officially part of a series, I called it book 2 of the Unicorn Trilogy and you’ll find that designation on sites like Goodreads. The series grew organically, though. At the end of Unicorn Bride, Dagobert and Alienor leave France for Asia, when it is revealed that Alienor has eastern blood. This leaves their future somewhat uncertain, and I heard quickly from readers who wanted more.
