Sarah had refused Aaron's breakfast date, and through Haya, she'd made it clear that Aaron shouldn't even think about hurting Anya. Her refusal and concern for Anya angered Aaron. To teach her a lesson, he immediately went from his floor to Anya's.
Anya's room door was open. Aaron entered, but she wasn't there. He went further into the room and out to the balcony, where Anya was leaning against the glass railing, looking out at the garden. The soft sunlight seemed to soothe her.
Aaron approached her and pulled her towards him. "Having a picnic?"
"Leave me... I..." Anya gently pushed him away and adjusted her towel. Lacking clothes, she was still wearing the towel as a makeshift dress.
Seeing her do this, Aaron stepped back two paces. He closed his eyes, trying to calm his anger.
"Millie! Millie!" Aaron called out sharply.
At his call, a female housekeeper rushed in, her gaze downcast. Seeing her, Aaron said, "Go and bring her some clothes. At least she shouldn't be wandering around in a towel like this."
"But why should I wear her clothes? I don't wear other people's clothes," Anya immediately retorted. Then, seeing Aaron's angry expression, she said softly, "Her clothes won't fit me. She's a little heavier than me."
"So, you want me to call a special designer here to design clothes for you? Wear what's available. If you want to stay here, you'll have to wear a maid's clothes and do her work. Nothing is free here. Got it?" Aaron shouted. Then he looked at Millie and said, "This girl will work with you from today. Make her clean the villa, wash dishes, or cook... whatever, but I shouldn't see her idle."
"But I don't know how to work," Anya said, tears welling up in her eyes.
Before Aaron could respond, he saw Sarah, who had somehow managed to get to that floor under the pretense of talking to Aaron. Haya was with her, having led her to Anya's room. Seeing Aaron being rough with Anya, Sarah glared at him angrily.
Sarah went to Anya and, giving her a side hug, said, "Don't you dare... Anya is not your servant to work here. She came with me. You can't mistreat her." Sarah's eyes blazed with anger, and her words were firm. Then, taking Anya's hand, she said, "Come with me to my room. I'll give you some clothes, and from today, you'll stay with me."
"It seems you've forgotten, Sarah Williams, this isn't your house. You're kidnapped here. Only one person can give orders here, and that's Aaron Smith..." Aaron said angrily.
"This is my decision, and you can't stop it. Anya will stay with me... in my room," Sarah met Aaron's gaze directly. Their eyes locked.
"Okay, but for that, you'll have to obey my every word." Aaron didn't argue much with Sarah and agreed.
"Time will tell who obeys whom," Sarah replied, and taking Anya's hand, she began to lead her to her room.
Sarah had only been there a day, yet she behaved as if she owned the villa.
"I want you in the dining area on the third floor in an hour... And since you're taking this girl with you, make sure she doesn't come near my sight again," Aaron shouted from behind.
"He talks as if I enjoy seeing her face," Anya mumbled.
Anya was furious with Aaron for what he had done to her a short while ago. Even while leaving, Anya didn't forget to grab her bag. Soon, they were in Sarah's room.
As soon as they entered Sarah's room, Anya carefully examined it, then said, "Wow... He's so awful. He made every arrangement for you, while me... forget it. Does he love you? That's why he kidnapped you?" Anya asked.
"He doesn't love me. If you don't know about these things, it's better to stay away. And don't go near him. You'll stay in this room. Everything you need is here," Sarah explained.
Anya's mother, Shirley, had been working for the Williams family for many years. Anya was only slightly younger than Sarah. They had grown up together, but Anya had no idea about the inner workings.
After Sarah's explanation, Anya nodded in agreement. As soon as Anya agreed, Sarah said, "He accepted my terms, so I have to accept his. Besides, I needed to talk to him. I'm going to breakfast with him; you get ready after showering. I'll tell someone to bring breakfast for you."
After listening to everything, Anya nodded again. Since Anya didn't have any clothes, Sarah sent her to shower first. Sarah and Anya were almost the same size. Anya went to the closet area and chose a baggy denim pant and a long-sleeved crop top. She put her hair in a half-bun.
While Sarah was showering, Anya shouted from outside, "Sarah, this is your first official date, so I'll select your clothes."
"Okay, but don't take too long. He only gave me an hour. I'm already late because of you," Sarah replied.
Hearing this, Anya smiled. She stood near the bathroom. In a loud voice she said, "Sarah, you're following his orders so well. Have you fallen for him?"
"Stop the nonsense, Anya. I don't like him. I have to use my brain to get out of here. That's why I'm doing all this," Sarah retorted irritably.
"But he's so handsome. Win him over, gain his trust, and then we can easily escape," Anya said, going into the closet area to select an outfit for Sarah.
There were many branded clothes. From them, she chose a red bodycon short dress for Sarah. Red was Sarah's favorite color.
"There's makeup and accessories too," Anya said, showing Sarah the items after picking out the dress.
Anya applied light makeup and waited for Sarah. Sarah arrived shortly. Anya got her ready.
"I've always loved the cold here. It gets cold in my New York, but London's cold is something else," Anya said as she got Sarah ready.
"Yes, London is nice, but there's no feeling of cold in this villa at all. It has a great heating system," Sarah said. When she was fully ready, she left Anya there and went to meet Aaron.
______________
Aaron was waiting for Sarah on the third floor. There was a dining area in one part of the hall. It was like a luxurious hotel's VIP dining area. Aaron had it specially prepared for Sarah. As soon as Sarah arrived, Aaron stared at her. She looked stunning in the red dress.
Aaron gestured to the security guard to leave and, taking her hand, brought her inside.
Looking around at the arrangement, Sarah said, "Was it necessary to go to all this trouble just for a breakfast, Aaron Smith?"
"For you, it's just breakfast, but for me, it's our first date. Love often begins with hate. Hate has existed between us for generations, so let's begin with love," Aaron said, serving Sarah food himself.
He was sitting on the chair next to her. Aaron moved a plate of white sauce pasta towards himself and started feeding Sarah, but Sarah shook her head.
"Don't mistake my being here for your victory, Aaron Smith. I'm only here to talk to you. I don't beat around the bush, so I'll say it directly. Let's make a deal. I'll take you to the first checkpoint; in return, you let us both go." Sarah spoke to him in a very professional manner.
As soon as she finished speaking, Aaron laughed menacingly. "You'll take me to the first of seven important checkpoints so that they can kill me as soon as they see me? No one is that brave; they can't even touch a hair of the Devil's head, but the planning is quite good. You're new to this field, baby; you need to learn a lot."
"If you call yourself the Devil, then manage your way through the next checkpoints yourself," Sarah said in a challenging voice.
"Let me tell you, I have no interest in your seven checkpoints... Aaron Smith doesn't need to go through all those pointless checkpoints to become king of this world. I just want you, and I will have you. Becoming the mafia king is my ambition; having you is my obsession."
"That's outrageous. I'm not some object you 'want' and 'will have'," Sarah yelled at him angrily. Aaron's eyes turned cold at her words. In the same cold tone, he said, "I don't forgive twice for the same mistake. Don't dare shout at me again."
"You talk as if I'm afraid of you," Sarah said angrily, getting up to leave. Aaron, still seated, grabbed her hand, pulled her close, and sat her on his lap.
Aaron's hands were behind Sarah, his fingers tangled in her hair. With his other hand, he held her tightly.
"Respect me when I talk politely. If you anger me, I can get what I want through force instead of love. Forget about getting out of here, Sarah Williams. There's a way to get into this place, but not out of it... especially not against Aaron Smith's will." Aaron said in a chilling tone. Then he released Sarah and gestured for her to sit on the nearby chair.
Sarah stood stubbornly, so Aaron shouted angrily, "I said sit down!"
Sarah quickly sat down. As soon as she did, Aaron said, "Eat your breakfast quietly."
Sarah shook her head. She sat there lost in thought, her eyes filled with tears. Aaron's words had instilled fear in her heart.
