Chapter 1

"Joshua,, its already 6 o'clock in the morning, hurry up and take a bath now" .

A gently voice of Joshua's mother who was busy preparing food for a breakfast .

Yes mom ,as "Joshua said ".

Joshua Decker is a 21 years of age and he is taking course of BS COMPUTER ENGINEERING at ST. DE HEARTFILLIA UNIVERSITY.

He will graduate soon, three months from now .

His mother was a laundry woman only that's why Joshua is working a partime job in the restaurant near in the university . He earned 10 dollars per hour.

"Josh I need to go in the municipality of land and housing development today .

We need to sell our two acres of rice field, our rice fields never be able to be planted again two years ago .

I think this is the right time to make a decision, we have a lot of expenses last month and we are running out of budget now."as his mother said.

Joshua was stunned when he heard what his mother said,

"Mom? that is our last property that we have after dads gone".

When Joshua's father had gone because of a car accident they suffered so much, but because of Joshua's mother is a brave and didn't give up to work and show the loved to Joshua as until they able to survive even without Joshua's father ,thats why Joshua grow up with a humble hearts and God fearing.

"Please mom, I promise to you that after I graduate and have a good job and better salary you deserved to live like a queen.

I will buy a big mansion where we can two of us can live."as Joshua explain to his mother with a sly smile ..

His mother sighed ,and said , "hurry up, finish your food ,you need to go to school before you late".

She felt guilt , heart breaking and got a tinge of tears in her eyes when she heard what his son said .

Joshua didn't know that her mother has a serious illness right now.

Because his mother wants Joshua not to worry ,she choose to hide it from him .

When his son was gone out and can't out of sight she rushed to go in the ketchin and she vomits over and over again until a thick blood comes out in her mouth .

Everytime she vomit, she feels pain in her stomach ,the feeling that she can't breath causing her face are turned to pale.

Joshua's mother has a stage 4 liver cancer as the doctor said ,that she might be able to live just in one month.

She immediately go to her room and pick up some medicine that she bought in the pharmacy when she remember the doctors prescription.

While Joshua walking along the road he could not help but to think his mom, he's worried about his mothers eyes earlier .

He sighed and smile then continue to walked .

There house is seven kilometer distance from the university and everyday he only walked no matter what, it's hot or it's a heavy rain.

Beep! Beep!

A big car horn that caught his attention was behind him.

Joshua turned his head and a middle -aged man driving an old model BMW car that coming closer to him.

When the window is opened , Joshua recognize him, it was teacher Jorge Benny from finance department of St. De heartfillia university.

"Hello teacher Benny , Good morning", as Joshua said.

"come inside the car and I will drive you to the school." As teacher benny said.

Teacher benny was teaching in the same school where Joshua is , he has four children and all of them working abroad for a long time.

Teacher Benny is 56 years of age and sooner he has a plan to resign teaching as a finance teacher in the school.

In his aged, he looked like thirties because his living in an upper class life unlike Joshua's mother that looked like too old but younger than teacher benny .

While driving ,teacher ask to Joshua .

"You will graduate soon , do you have any plan after you graduate?"

Joshua shook his head and said.

"From now, I dont know teacher but I submitted my curriculum vitae some of the listed company here in duclin city but until now I don't have any updates of them."

"It's okay don't be rush, it will come in Gods perfect time .

A humble and hard working like you it's not possible to you that many companies will accept your papers ", as teacher Benny said with an encouragement smile to Joshua.

"Thank you teacher Benny", Joshua said.

When Joshua is in front of the gate of the campus he saw Ysabelle Morgan walking .

She was wearing a white seven high stilettos heels, black fitted Jean's and pink fitted shirt. Her enchanting long hair revealing her snow white skin.

She was very pure which look her very coquettish. Her fragrant fragrance of chrysanthemums which Joshua like to enjoy.

Joshua cheeks flushed and its turns red, he enjoying the fragrance from Ysabelle

But suddenly ,Joshua came to his senses when there was a huge hand tap on his shoulder.

It was a big voice , "Hey bro ! Stop day dreaming! it was only a dream !"

HaHaha a burst laughter came from his two buddies it was Eddie Lecithin and Anthony Broker and they are classmates.

Ysabelle came from an influential and rich family. Its obvious why many of young second rich generation from there school wanted to be her sweetheart.

Ysabelle is also a 4th year student in finance department where teacher Benny is teaching.

"I want to tell all of you that you need to complete your internship to graduate and to get a job in the most listed big companies here in duclin city.

Well, goodluck"

as the teacher explain to them.

"Omg, until now I have never seen an internship from the other company."

Whispered and muttering of ,one of their classmates .

"How about you Josh? did you have an internship from the company"?

Anthony said ,

"Honestly not yet , how could I get an internship?

I need money to fund my education here .You know my situation dude that's why I'm going to have a partime in the restaurant everyday ."

Joshua bow his  head and close his eyes to think what to do.

Later on, he heard from his classmate Rizza Sanidaba that she already have an internship to the most listed big company here in duclin, all of her classmate are envy to her .

Rizza laugh sarcastically and when she notice that only Joshua didn't listen to her she feels embarrassed and she tap to Joshua's head .

"Hey! Loser did you heard what I've said? "

Joshua lifted his head and said  "Then? it's good for you. "

Rizza was so angry and said ,

"A loser like you can't get any intership from the big company, if its have , maybe it's a cheap and rotten company", a loud voice that all her classmate except Anthony and Eddie were burst into laughter.

Joshua ignored it and then he would immediately leave.

Joshua! A loud voice came from his manager in the restaurant. How many times I told you i***t that I dont want to slow down here .

I will deduct 200 dollars in your salary! Joshua was shocked and he think it's unfair to him because he worked for five hours everyday, then if his wages reduced by his manager he just work for four days just for nothing .

Joshua didn't agree and said

"Boss I didnt mean it , it just a little problem from my school that be bothered me.

Please dont do this to me it will affect from my daily allowance if you reduce my salary . I'll promise I will fucos my work here ."

He's managers raised his eyebrows with angry face .

"Oh!? If you dont like my rules here then get out here! I dont need such a waste and useless person like you! Pack your things and Get out of here! I dont want to see your face anymore!"

Joshua begging his manager but his manager kicked him and drag him outside.

Many onlooker saw and even judge him, they said, "why is such a beggar like him is there ? Oh so disgusting !"

All hurtful words he heard from the onlooker got Joshua breaks his heart but he choose to ignored it and leave the restaurant immediately.

He was very sad what had happened, then he decided to take taxi back to their house.

When he got home, he wondered why there was no light in their house.

He knocked the door but no one answered.

He try to grabbed the doorknob to open it and he wondered why the door is open.

When he turned on the lights , he was shocked at what he saw ,his mother was on the floor and was almost bathed in its own blood.

"Mom! He quickly went to his mother. Mom what happened to you?", he was crying as he was confused about what was happening. He was shouting and immediately went out asking for help.

When no one else heard for his help, he immediately carried his mother .

His mother was only moderately heavy, so it was easy for him to lift his mother.

When a taxi came by ,Joshua's eyes filled with tears . "Sir , please take us to the nearest hospital , please go ahead were in hurry! my mother was dying !" as Joshua said.

When they reach at the private hospital.

The nurses and doctor are immediately took care of here mother .

"You're not allowed to enter in the operating room, just wait here for the news ", as the nurse talked to Joshua.

But he was still in shocked and can't believe what was happening.

A while ago, he even had his mom having breakfast but now his mother is in the operating room and is dying.

Only prayer the way to save his mother.

"Lord please save my mother. I need her in my life", Joshua was sincere when he prayed.

He was crying out loud because no one else there in the waiting area.

"Sir",

the doctor trying to wake up him and a cold voice heard him so he woke up.

"I didn't realise I was asleep in just 3 hours," as Joshua said.

"Doctor, how's my mom condition?" Joshua said,

Then the doctor shook her head and spoke .

"I've had your mom operate but she is in the critical condition until now. She needs a blood transfusion but we don't have a blood type AB in our blood bank, so we need a blood donator as soon as possible" , doctor explain to Joshua.

"Doctor, I'm willing to donate my blood please", as Joshua said.

"Well , please fill up and sign here ." The doctor give a piece of paper to Joshua.

"So your mr.Joshua decker , come and follow me to the laboratory and we will do to examine your blood ."

It was 3 hours past when they examine his blood sample but until now there is no news from the laboratory.

Joshua went to his mothers room, in that time, he looked at to his mother in unconscious but he has nothing to do but to cry.

The room was so quite and only the sound came from the monitor you can hear ..

Tet!Tet! tet !

He said in a softly voice even he was crying .

"Mom, why you didn't tell me that your in a serious illness. Mom, please , I want you , I need you in my life . "

Suddenly the doctor opened the door and entered the room where Joshua and his mom's are.

"I'm so sorry mr. Decker but your blood sample didn't match to your mother.

Are you really his son?" The doctor asked.

Joshua was confused and said , "are you sure doctor? Yes , I'm his biological son no one else ."

"But I'm so sorry mr. Decker what I've said ,your blood sample didn't match to your mother ."

Suddenly his mom awake,

and all they talked she was heard about and she said in low weak voice.... "joshua",

Joshua was very emotional when he saw his mothers awake. "Mom, dont say anything, you need to rest now", but his mother insist and shook her head.

"Son, I've heard all about what was the doctor said and this is the right time to tell you the truth behind your identity. "

Joshua was so confused, he didn't want his mother to talked more because shes too weak but he want to know the whole truth behind his mysterious identity, so he don't have a choice but to let his mother's spoke.

His mother slowly spoke even she's too weak.

"Son , I really really loved you,

Your dad and I dont have any child because of my health condition.

Twenty

years ago when me and you're father went to the forest to pick up some firewood, but I've heard that theres a voice crying . Me and your dad went there where the voice came from.

And we saw you wrapped in a white luxury clothes . We didn't know where and why you came into the woods .

We are so happy and blessed that day, because finally the lord answered our prayers.

Son, when you came in our life

Our world became vibrant .

I'm really sorry son to hide it from you a long time.

I know the right time will come that you need to know the truth.

I never regret to care and loved you.

Even you're not my true son but I loved you more than I am .

I'm very grateful to the lord because you grew up with a God fearing.

Thank you Josh , my life was meaningful .. these is the most heart breaking and innermost lines of the hearts what was Joshua's mother said .

They both all cried.

"Mom no matter what who I am ,

I dont care, if I'm not your true son, for me, I don't have any mother , but only you , the only mother that I'll have.

You will be my mother forevermore." as Joshua said while crying out loud.

"Please mom,, I'm begging you,, please dont say anymore. Don't give up mom , remember as I promise you,, we will live together in big mansion and you will live like a queen,, right mom? "

"Please mom" , Joshua was screaming and crying, begging for his mom .

Because his mother talked to much she can't even breath but there's only last words she said to Joshua.

His mother was too weak and ready to accept what was her fate.

She smile at him and said,

in a very slowly and gently voice,

"Son remember.

that I owe you..

I'm so very happy... to... have you..

I will love ,,,

It was a straight

sound came from monitor.

Joshua was panic! and that time was stopped and being slow in motion only for Joshua .

Joshua was shouting

and said "mom ,!!!mom!!! But his mother never heard it.. anymore ....

Doc!!Doc!!" as Joshua shouted to them .

The doctor immediately trying to revive his mother

Clear.!!.. togzz! Clear!!togzz! The big sound impact was came from the machine.

"One more and make it into a high volume!" as doctor said to the team nurses! Clear!!togz!!

But ,,,,,

the only appears in the monitor ...

the room was full of scream when Joshua saw his mother covered with a white clothes.

"Mom!!!! Joshua was shouting and cry out loud.

"I'm so sorry mr Decker we tried our best until you're mothers life is over ." The doctor tap his shoulder and leave the room.

Nine days after ,

Joshua standing in front of his mothers graved and he said ,mom no matter what ,your the only mother that I have since birth .

"Thank you so much mom for everything and for the loved. You're in the good hands in the heaven now" . He sighed and nodded his head then immediately leave the cemetery.

He dont know where to get money since his mother passed away. He sold their remaining two acres of rice field for the hospital bill.

It cost 200,000 dollars only but he paid 199,000 dollars for the hospital bill. he had one thousand remaining but now he has no property at all.

When he is inside the classroom his classmate Rizza was very proud what she did in the company where she interned.

Then she looked at Joshua.

"Hey loser! now that you're a beggar you're not able to fund yourself even a single of cake you cannot afford to buy it! .

So if I were you , you much better to drop out and begging a money on the street". as Rizza said and looked disdainful to him .

Joshua was fell embarrassed and gritted his teeth ,he don't want to argue with her and he leave the classroom immediately .

But Rizza feel little embarrassed when Joshua ignored her so, she raised her two eyebrows and she was shouted at him and said ,"dont comeback anymore here! and dont show your face here! or else! I will break your two legs! .. i***t !loser! " As Rizza said and laughed sarcastically .

Joshua went to office of the principal and its located at the north of the campus .

When he reach there, the building was so huge, its has 30th floor and the principals office is there. suddenly, Ysabelle appeared in front of him .

"Hey, Joshua you're here what a coincidence" as Ysabelle said.

Joshua was stunned for a moment of second when Ysabelle know him, he can't believed that an influential and popular lady in the school know him .

"I'm looking for you since yesterday but I've heard to your classmate what had happened to your mom ..

My sympathy and deepest condolence to your mom joshua."

"Thank you" and he lowerd his head to show some respect then he lifted his head .

"Ah ,, you're Ysabelle from finance department right? How did you know me at all?" Joshua said.

"Well, I know you long time ago since you're here in St. de heartfillia university" as Ysabelle answered him .

Again and again Joshua was stunned , when he heard from what Ysabelle said.

I came from poor and ordinary family but this beautiful lady looking for me and even know me? He scroll his eyes and sighed.

"Ah, what are you doing here in principal's office ?" As Joshua said.

"I have some important things to be settled that's why I need to talk to the principal" as ysabelle said.

"You ,why also you're here?"

"I need to submit my excuse letter for having a nine days absent" Joshua said. A thick and heavy door was pushed by the secretary of principal.

When they entered the room it was a big spacious and bright office ,the background are all white and the floor was gold and it was a luxury office that Joshua had never seen .

The designed was to different from the other office that he seen.

The chandeliers are shining like a star in the sky, the fragrance that can feel you relax ,the smoothness and beautiful view that can feel you more better.

It was a perfect place for, to watch the sunset everyday .

In Joshua's mind , maybe it cost a millions of dollar to have this kind of luxury office .

A middle -aged man was sitting behind the desk watching the views outside the window was the principal.

He wore a black suit and grey pants and silver luxurious brand of watch that can make him a good temperament.

The Principal talked polite to Ysabelle and offer her a drink because he know that Ysabelle was came from the strong and wealthy family and thier family has a connection to the derictor of this school and he even know, that her family was one of the share holders here.

But he look down to Joshua because he is very poor and wearing an old shoes, faded shirt and pants only . After that ,when Ysabelle gone out , Joshua wanted to talk

but the principal will stop him and said,

" I don't have any interest on you . You're teacher told me that your being absent just a nine days without an excuse letter, then its obvious that you break the rules!

"Hurry up! And get out of here ". The principal tore his excuse letter and became more arrogant and shouted him.

"You should just expel it here for a useless and poor student like you ! You're not belong here! Now get out!"

After Joshua expelled by his principal,sadness traced his eyes.

He study hard for four years but his misery came to nothing.

He seems to be losing hope because of unexpected consequences.

He walked about as if, there was no destination until he got in the hospital. Joshua came his senses when he notice that there's a voice calling him.

A fat woman in a white nurse dress calling his name. She has a good looking in her uniform .

"Ah, excuse me sir, I'm nurse joshelle, what should I do for you ?"

When Joshua noticed that this place is the hospital when his mother was rushed to . Then he replied ,

"ah nothing, I'm just here to pass by ."

Joshua was surprised when he found out that this hospital was just luxury and the equipment was very expensive , that is why he paid so much.

This hospital is a high- end class it cost 10,000 dollars per night.

When Joshua remembered how little money he had, he ask directly to nurse though he was shy.

"Ah, nurse, is this hospital needs a blood donator?" He only thought that this is the way to had a money instant to sustain his needs maybe just for one week.

The nurse replied him and said

"Yes, come and follow me to the laboratory." After he sold his blood that cost 200 dollars only, then he take taxi back to their house.

Back to the hospital, the doctor was delighted to hear from an in- charge nurse in the laboratory that they had found someone with a rare blood type .

It was a past 20 years ago that there's someone donated this kind of a rare blood type and only rare people had this type of blood .

The doctor rushed straight immediately to the director's office of the hospital.

Director Dennis Van, I had finally found someone with a rare blood type. As doctor said .

Derictor Van was shocked and he can't believed that after Twenty years theres someone donated.

Director Van was made a phone call immediately to the old master Rodulf Vanlimz.

At that time Mr. Rodulf was in the Business meeting with his wife Anne Vanlimz.

And his phone rang,

He wandered when suddenly calling out a number he didn't recognize.

And when he answered it in a low voice ,

"Hello Master Vanlimz , I'm derictor Dennis Van from St. Joy hospital.

I have to say that is very important that you should know, we found someone who had a rare blood type".

Rudolf was shocked and his eyes widened when he heard it from derictor Van and said in a loud voice.

"What!?! "

All the in that room was shocked when Rodulf shouted so loudly that everyone was paying attention to him.

"Is there any problem master Rodulf?" As one of the company's manager asked him.

"No, nothing,but Im sorry we have to leave right now , let postponed our meeting tomorrow .I have important person to see today ."

He grabbed Anne's hand.

"Honey lets go", as Rudolf said to her wife Anne .

Anne Vanlimz was confused what was going on? Hon, "who was called you?"

Anne asked to his husband .

"It was derictor Van from

St. Joy hospital he said that they finally found someone a rare blood type."

Anne was shocked and they rushed to st. Joy hospital to confirm who was the person had same blood type with Rodulf Vanlimz.

When they arrived to st. Joy hospital a security guard was recognized them that the car parked in the VIP parking was the Vanlimz family.

He immediately made a call to his walkie talkie to the directors office to inform that Vanlimz family had arrived now earlier . Then derictor van answered him , "served and accompany them to my office now."

When Vanlimz family entered to the directors office , they were greeted immediately of derictor van with a smile. "Good afternoon Master Rodulf, and to you lady Anne, have a sit."

Derictor van ask his secretary to prepared a tea for the Vanlimz family .

Rodulf spoke ,

"Who is the same person as my blood type ? Is he a man? Is he from duclin city ? What his name? Please we need to know right now."

"Relax master Rodulf

Please have a sit first ."

Then rodulf and Anne sighed ..

"This is the report sample and the details of the guy who was the same your blood type."

Rodulf and Anne took the paper ,they were surprised when they saw the name of Joshua and it was the same age as thier missing son twenty years ago.

"Well Master Rodulf and lady Anne we need some blood sample to have a DNA test to confirm that if Joshua is your missing child."

After two hours of waiting ..

Finally theres a result. When they saw director van is coming to them, rodulf and Anne are trembling and can't wait for the result, so that they ran straight to derictor Van.

"Well ,master rodulf and lady Anne here the result", Derictor Van extended his hand and gave a piece of envelope to them with a smile .

Rodulf and Anne sighed ...

When they open and read it .....

They shed tears and could not believe that finally after twenty years they had found thier missing son .

"Well,congratulations master Rodulf and lady Anne finally we found young master Joshua.."
