The night was a cool and quiet one.I could hear the sleeping crowd turn and snore, a thing I had grown to appreciate.I kept hoping that I could turn human enough to sleep even though for a little while.Living with them and not being like them completely, made me feel a little out of place.The storm outside was getting stronger and it almost felt like it was calling to me.I loved the rain and the sunshine and everything on earth.The one planet God had taken some extra time to perfect.

I was just there laying on the bed still starting at the ceiling even though I could see nothing out there.Michael was still talking to me but I was ignoring him.Slowly I got out of bed and walked through the hall, careful not to wake up the bunker which was resting.I made it through to the hall without making a sound, but at the living room my robe touched a cup seated at the edge of the table and down it went.I didn't see it in time but when I finally deed I just closed my eyes and waited for the impact and then the sound.When there was non, I looked, the cup had dropped on a pillow which I had no idea was there.Slowly I picked the two and went on with my tip toe journey.

Finally I was outside, seated on a fallen tree, listening and feeling the downpour which was now stronger.There were less thunder and the clouds were starting to lighten up.The whole place was silent.Not even the wolves howls could be heard.I heightened my senses and listened in on the world, happy to be reassured that there were no more incidents out there.Everything was as it should be.The filthy smell from earlier was still in the air and I could feel it getting stronger with every passing moment.

I was still enjoying the atmosphere when I heard people talking.I knew the voices." You are not doing it perfectly, here let me show you," it was them, the three mischievous brothers who represented fate.Luck had told all about them.From what I could tell, they were about twenty miles away.That was a blink away.I knew I could not just walk in on them as it could spook them causing an unwanted twist.I flew close and took cover behind a wall.They were out on this ladies home, trying to do something that I couldn't tell but I waited to see.

They were all dressed the same, in green hoodies, black pants and black boots.There was no way to tell them apart as they looked, talked and walked the same.I watched as one of them took a flower pot and placed right outside the tiny door that was meant for the dog.The other one whistled and the dog came running out,kicking the door hard and throwing the vase down the steps, it fell on the pavement and broke.The sound woke the lady of the house up and I saw the light turn on as she made her way outside.

I saw a car pull over at the gate, a man walked out, shortly after a girl got out.I listened in and it was a strange conversation among the two."You need to get back inside the car, the lights are on so it is possible she is not yet asleep," the guy said."So where are you going to tell her you are coming from since you are not even drunk," she walked closer to him and kissed him in the lips." The usual, act drunk and go straight to bed, now you really have to get back in the car," he said trying to push her away."Relax. how many times have we done it right here while she is sleeping upstairs.Come on just like every other day.It will be quick.I promise.Without a word he followed her to the back sit of the car.

One of the three fate brothers was by then seated in the front seat messing around with stuff.He turned on the ignition key and the car started.All the while the lady of the house was beginning to have second thoughts about going out to check, but then she heard the car and saw the headlights, she probably knew it was her husband being brought home and she walked out.She waited for him but he didn't come out.She was concerned and she walked towards the car.

One of the three mischievous brothers inside the car tickled the girls leg and she pushed on the back door and it opened.The two were still having fun in there, completely n***d and completely unaware of the shocked woman standing outside watching them.The brothers the satisfied walked up to the house and sat on the front porch and sat down to wait for the drama to start.

"Honey I am sorry I don't know how it happened.You know how I am when I get drunk.I don't even know her,"he was walking behind her in his boxer shorts, holding his other clothes and shoes on his hands.She was soo furious and shocked that she was not responding, but he kept on talking."This one is a bad bad fail as well," one of the brothers said."This wasn't a game remember, we came here to help her see the truth.We wanted to help her not to laugh at her broken life," the other replied."I don't even see the point.She loves him soo much and she will forgive him,"the other one lamented.

A hot argument followed and the three were at each others throat.There's we're an even better drama and I jumped over the wall and sat comfortably to watch.Just then a suitcase fell from the balcony upstairs,then another.Shoes, clothes, watches...you name it.Raining down on the wet pavement outside, causing too much noise that the neighbors came out to see what was happening.All this while the brothers were still arguing and they never saw a thing.Infact, the only thing they saw was the husband flying through the door after being pushed out by his angry wife.She didn't forget to curse a little and slam the door.

The poor bastard had fallen face down on the pavement.Still on his shorts.He slowly picked himself up painfully.He was yet to be surprised by the neighbors who were peeping from everywhere.The walk of shame as he took his scattered clothes and shoes, putting them carelessly in an old suitcase.He put on some clothes and walked away in shame.At the gate he had to call a taxi even though he had no particular destination in mind.The neighbors walked back to their houses and in no time the lights went off.The lady was left to her sobs and broken heart while her neighbors couldn't sleep as they waited eagerly to talk about the events with their friends.

I got up from where i was seated on the fence and walked over to the three brothers.They never heard me coming and that was an advantage."Boys, i think that's enough trouble for one night.I need your help," they took some time to argue amongst themselves as to whether i was talking to them or not.I stood there waiting.Even as the created mischieves for others, they never really enjoyed them as they played on themselves too.They were a strong but dumb force." Take a good look around you doofuses, who else could I be talking to?,"I said beginning to feel impatient as it was too late.In about two minutes, Ophie would wake up and make a round to make sure everybody was okey.I needed to be back before then as I had promised the boys I wouldn't go behind their back again.I knew I did not intend to keep my promise but I wasn't going to tell or even show them that. Time was running out and the three were just arguing.After my words they took a closer look and realized it was me.The shut up immediately.

"Finally, some peace...you know what is happening around right now.I plan to fix it and I need your help.I am not rushing you, I am just asking.I will give you sometime to think about it and if you consider, meet me here," I handed them a note that had a place and time.They were to be approached with care as they were obsessed with control.The wanted to the superior force wherever they went.I needed their help and I could not afford to make the wrong impression before they had sealed the deal.Ones fate was sealed, their was never going back, their word was their bond and I played at that.

It had taken me about a minute and a half to explain to them, I had plenty of time to go home.Even though the previous days pains were still there, my wings were pretty badass and they could carry me as fast as ever.In a millisecond I was back in the bunker, I took the next few seconds to tip toe to my room and then I was back on my bed peacefully.I heard Ophie yawn, then I heard the slither and the hiss.He was up.He went round checking on everybody.Covering those who kept losing their blankets.My room was the last in the far end.He knew I could hear him coming and often he would go human before getting to my room.By then everyone had gotten used to his other form.Even Alice who was terrified for more that a month now said Ophie made a perfect squishy seat.They always fought over her seating all the time.

"Hey you still thinking, you know I heard you leaving," he said as he walked in the room seating on the side of my bed.I saw his eyes turn for a bit, the pupil changed and then there was a red flash and then they disappeared, leaving the normal yet somehow unusual red eye.I wanted to ask him why his eyes deed that but then I remembered I had asked along time ago and he had no answer then.Maybe it was simply just normal.I explained everything to him and as usual made him promise he would not tell the others.Twenty minutes later he was out and back to sleep.

The remaining part of the night was usually short and before I knew it, it was morning already.Happy voices everywhere as the crowd was going on about preparing for school.In the course of the week we would be in the bunker only after classes.We had a life to keep up with.Breakfast was met by cheerful people, all except John who was just remembering an assignment he was supposed to have finished by three o'clock that day and one he had totally forgot all about.In such cases Tom always came to his rescue or I could just make one appear out of nowhere.I had three visitors that I expected that evening and I hoped they would show up.The fate of the world literally rested on their shoulders.

The day was a success and the evening was finally here.I took the boys and Alice who was becoming more and more like them with every passing day back to the bunker.They had a three hours training before going back to the mansion to rest.During weekdays we did not spend our nights on the bunker and neither did Geo.It was left to Miss Griffin, Ophie and squish and at the moment lady luck.After dropping the three I went to the agreed meeting point.I waited for about thirty minutes but the three didn't show.I thought maybe they chose not to and I was about to give up and leave.But then I heard them.The idiots had spent all the day arguing over whether to come or not.Now they were arguing over whose fault was it now that they were late.I was so not in the mood and I just grabbed them and flew them back at the bunker.Explaining about them was one hell of a task as they were still in the middle of an argument.

Things got pretty heated when lady luck showed up from hall way." You sons of...," she said upon seeing them.They coiled back at the corner as she came with her fists folded.Something was definitely going on between them.They would however not tell and I held that thought for when they were all here together.Ophoe played a big part drawing a common ground for them.The rest of the evening training was ruined and I had to take the lady luck with me back to the mansion so that the four wouldn't have a take two on their fight after I was gone.And to think they were the one we had our bets on to save the world.
