JINX (conclusion)

Something was about to happen.I could feel it in my soul.Something I had felt earlier that morning.I was compelled to walk outside, and I deed.With the suit still on I made my way through the cafe and stood outside.The place was as always busy.Happy people walking on the corridors.Children giggling and others crying over toys their parents were not willing to buy or simply couldn't afford.A group of girls admiring expensive jewelry and clothes from the shops display.Everything seemed and felt normal.But there was something evil floating in the air.I could smell it, feel it and I could almost taste it.

I was just about to enjoy the tiny break by taking in the stuffy air and conclude that i was just overthinking things,suddenly a car came speeding down the road, some two police patrol cars followed with the sirens on.The red cabriolet made a sharp left turn and I could see this shabby looking gentleman with long hair that waved with the wind.On the passengers seat I could see a scared girl."Rich bastards," an old man gasped as he walked past me with a newspaper under his armpit and a brown shopping bag on his hand.I smiled under the suit.However, the occurrences that followed were grave and the smile on my face was wiped away.

One of the police patrol cars skidded on the road as if something was holding it tires.Something rare especially on a perfectly sunny day.There was no water on the road.The air suddenly felt a bit Familiar, I knew what would follow.I also knew I couldn't change the cycle.The car hit a pizza delivery guy on his way to deliver the freshly made goodies.The bike fell and the pizza boxes flew and opened mid air.Throwing the pieces into the air before they landed on random places on the corridor.Some fell on the clean people on their business while others fell on the ground.Someone slided on one and fell down bringing a somewhat sizeable number of others with him.Others who were walking with their heads facing towards the commotion on the road fell on top of the already fallen ones.Within no time there were people all over the floor trying to get up.Some would slide on the pizza pieces and fall right back.

On the road, the police car stopped and every other car including the second police car came bumping into each other.The impact was not serious at first, but then the first patrol car caught fire.I had to do something this time.I could see the police officer in the burning car trying to get the door open but the damn thing was jammed and would not open.Quickly I animated the suit and jumped out of it all invisible.I pulled the door off the car and pulled the policeman who was choking on smoke out.The car then went up in frames, making the rest of the cars behind it burn as well.The car at the back had failed and could not make way for the rest.The other drivers were trying to make alternative escapes but they locked each other during the rush.No one wanted to leave their cars and I had to force most of them.A gap was however formed between the third and fourth car and the burning ended there.

Within a few minutes the place was a mess.Black smoke everywhere.Someone has called 911 and three fire trucks were on their way.The people on the corridors were now up, feeling themselves for broken bones and injuries.Some bashing off the dust on their clothes.Within no time they cahnged to blaming and pointing fingers.I knew then why it felt soo familiar.It was something close to what had happened earlier in the bunker.I jumped back into the suit and joined in helping resolve the fight that was escalating real fast.

While still in the cooling off the crowd business, my phone rang and I reached into my pocket for it.I received it as I lifted my head towards the approaching fire trucks.I noticed something strange.A lady staring at what looked like a scroll on her hands, a worried look on her face.I enhanced my senses towards her but before i could Completely see what she was up to, Tom yelled at my years and i had to concentrate with him first.By the time i turned back the lady was gone.I looked around for a while but I couldn't see her.

My full attention was turned towards Tom who told me about the Ring Pin machine going crazy.This time round I took off the suit and excused myself from work, leaving my boss to his usual shouting and yelling something about me being too much.I flew into the bunker and with me the smell of smoke flew too."Hey is something on fire?," Tom asked and I took the next few minutes explaining after which I walked towards the machine.It was going crazy, pin pointing like two hundred locations all over the world.There was no way we could get into all those places at a go." Did the magix get free and decided to surprise everybody?," I asked out loud triggering a panic reaction by the others.I realized my mistake and tried to calm everybody down.I made a decision to fly around by myself and check on the situation first.

As I turned around to do so, the room was filled with reapers all wearing scared looks."What do we do, all this is not to happen.Some people are not due for up to decades," they said all at ones.I didn't know what to do or say.I ordered them to follow me.My friends looked at me with questioning looks.Of course they couldn't see who I was talking to and from where they stood I was talking to myself.I didn't have time to explain and I just left after promising them i would explain later.

All over the world, what seemed like really unlucky occurrence were happening.Chain accidents were happening everywhere.They all seemed unnatural.I went back to the bunker leaving the reapers to do a job that wasn't theirs.There was no way we could reap that many souls before time.That day the reapers were to save as many lives as they could.Back in the bunker I went through all books looking for a creature that brought chain unlucky happenings but I couldn't find any.I found myself praying to Michael even though he had made it clear to me that I wasn't welcome to.

I was not sure he would answer but he did.He showed up and showed himself to everyone.However, is glory was too bright that I they were blinded momentarily, but they heard everything Michael had to say."I thought I was clear when I said no calls Azrael," he started.I could feel a hint of anger in his voice.I trembled a little as I explained myself."You were clear...infact, you were very clear Michael, but I need your help.I need to know what is happening to the world.I know you already know something is going on.You warned me earlier but you were not clear about it.You asked to something about it and I am planning to, but I can't stop it if I don't know what it is," I said afraid of what he would do next.

He came closer with his hand held on his great spear.A weapon so powerful that it could cut through the very fabric of the world, it was much, much stronger than my flaming sword or the shinny Gabriel's scepter.I feared the weapon even more than I feared the bearer.I held it ones and there is no words to what It was capable of.In the hands of an archangel it was a normal weapon for them to hold on to and fight with, in the hands of a normal angel it was rogue power, there was no telling what it would do in the arms of a human.As he walked close, the spear lit up and I could hear it whisper.I edged back a bit.

Michael got to me and held me by my shoulder, my wings came out involuntary.If I was human I could have peed myself or something." Relax sister, its not like I am going to hurt you for asking for my help.I just want to make sure you get this.There is a new magic or rather an old magic has returned and it is affection the other forces of the earth.Today it is affecting luck, there is no telling what it will affect tomorrow or what it will bring back.It is the dark force of the universe.You know the one you and the Almighty locked out.It is back and soon extreme misfortunes, curses and other bad, bad stuff will happen.That will be bad business for the world and you.I don't know if it could be locked away again but I know you will figure out a way to keep the balance in check.Now if there is no more help needed, I have some soldiers to prepare,"he flew off and left me right there, still trembling.

It took a while for the others to gain back full vision.They were both scared and thrilled to have witnessed that.John even took notice of my trembling and kept as a joke for when times were much calm.We came up with a plan.A plan save as many as we could and try to keep the outbreaks at a minimal rate.There was only one way I knew to do that.We needed to look for the four strongest good forces of the universe to help raise the balance.Then I knew it was the lady luck who was in trouble and i needed to find her.I also knew she was the one I had seen earlier looking worried and weary.I knew she was trying her best and we could help her by uniting her with love, destiny and fate.

The biggest problem with the plan was the fact that I had no idea what to be looking for.Maybe the three had also taken a human form.It would be easier if they had since there was no any other way to find them.I flew everybody to an outbreak site and left them to help the poor bastards as I went round looking for the good magic.Michael's words about preparing an army still echoing through my thoughts.I understood then that I was completely wrong that morning to think things wouldn't get much worse.I damned the thought as I flew looking for a human out of place.The storm was no longer on the way, it was here.
