The sounds of birds were beginning to bring the forest back to life.Though it was still a bit dark, we could now see a few meters ahead.The forest was not all that dense around as there were only a few bushes and even fewer thickets.I still had a feeling I was being watched but this time it was not scary like before.I was a few meters behind Duke watching his funny walking style.I loved the smell of the trees and blooming flowers.It reminded of Nala and her mom as they made their own perfumes from flowers and plants.I still missed them and hoped they would call.
"We are here," Duke said.It was a clearing big enough to hold a hundred people." This is a perfect meeting place, away from the people and where nothing would be damaged," he called out in a strange language and suddenly the birds stopped singing.The forest fell quiet for some time and then the sounds came.A cloud formed on the sky.It was a dark cloud which would form what seemed like figures in the sky.Every ones in a while forming a figure that looked like something that existed on earth.They seemed much closer to the ground and I figured it was because we were on a higher ground.My attention was lost on the clouds I never even see the whirlwind a few meters away.A whole formed on the ground and a spring of water shot out of it.A piece of earth protruded from the ground and stood like an anthill.A lone tree then caught on fire and my attention was fully turned towards the elements.
"You brought the angel," they all said in unison directed to Duke.Duke took a few steps forward and made a bow he then started explaining to the elements,"Yes I did..before you ask her to leave, I need you to hear me.We really need your help if we are going to continue fighting.You promised to help me if it had to do with stopping end of the world.That time to help is now.We need to know what is going on with the two worlds preparing for the fight.Before we had Azzy, she could communicate or listen in to heaven and tell us what was going on, but now she can't.I told you about the spiting and that she was missing.Well, now she back, but she have no memories of anything that happened from the beginning to two months and a week ago.We need you to use your magic and tell us whether she is still an angel and whether she still have her powers with her,"
The elements paused for a moment before talking.The moment of waiting felt long and it made me edgy.Duke however stayed calm and waited.He was used to the elements and he knew how they worked."Well we always knew she was missing.We also knew where she was as we were the ones who took her there.She needed a place to hide out where the angels wouldn't go looking.We also know she still have her powers but they are dormant for the moment and they will be until you find out who his them," water said at last.
At first I didn't understand what they meant but then they explained that they were not working alone.Someone or something had helped them.They knew I would be in the forest when I was.The had been there waiting for me.The being that had warned them about the spiting and the wrath had told them how to save me and what to do afterwards.The elements had done as they were instructed.After the save, they took me to Somali where they disgusted me as a soldier.The did that soo I would be totured and afterwards question the ongoing events.They needed me to question everything so I would eventually find my way back to Ophie.They also explained that loosing my angelic abilities was the only way I could have stayed away from being tracked by the angels.
All that plan was not their idea but they also didn't know who's it was.The had followed it to save me but they knew well there was nothing more they could do.I needed to look for the being behind the planning.My first thought was that it was an angel.Maybe it was Michael, or Phanuel.They were the only ones I knew from the bunker's memories.we had come all that way just to circle back to where we had started.My heart broke a little more and I started to feel like giving up was the solution.I watched as the elements disappeared before turning back and following Duke.The only option we had was to look for an angel summoning spell.It was our only way to get Phanuel or Michael to come to us so we could ask him the questions.The trip back was quiet and uneasy.Even though I had a few more answers, I had even more questions that I had a feeling I wouldn't find some answers any time soon.
I thought of school, I had not been there for months.Maybe they had notified my father whom.from what John and Tom said, was a discipline junkie.I feared what would befall me if he decided to follow up and realize I didn't even remember him.He would probably think I was on drugs or worse.Tom had also told me that I had end of the year tests in a couple of weeks and I had to be there.How would I answer questions if I couldn't remember a thing? I had hopes that the elements would help bring back my powers.I depended on it more than anything at the moment, but now I was back to zero.
I was so lost in my thoughts I never even noticed we were already back at the bunker.I only realized it as I walked down the dark stairs.I glanced at my watch, it was sixteen minutes past ten.It was on a weekend and that meant everyone was around.They were to be in training but instead they had decided to go through the books looking for any answers that could help me.I loved how they dedicated their whole being into the course and into helping.Now I knew why I had picked them fight, to be by my side.The were willing to do what was best for the world.It was my one win, knowing I had the right team besides me.Even the bunker helped by animating everything in it so the group wouldn't have to do anything else rather than dig deep into the books.On seeing them all that dedicated, my eyes got watery and my heart felt warm.
