I rushed out to find Mandy after the lunch break is over. “Mandy! You won’t believe what just happened to me.” She looked surprised and curious by my words. “Let me guess…Is it something about Marcus?” she randomly said. I groaned in desperation.
“NO! It’s not about Marcus… Some random cute guy just saved me earlier in the baseball fields!” I told her in a high tone that I saw a few people turning their heads towards us. Mandy rolled back her eyes at me. “You can’t be serious, Simone. You just got married to Marcus, and now you’re being unfaithful with another man.” She said in a whispering tone, afraid that other people might hear us.
