Simone POV
Noah is still bleeding from the shot and lying unconscious in the backseat of the car. I was worried that he wouldn’t be able to survive before we reached back to our pack. “Can you drive faster, Caiden?” I asked him while checking on Noah’s breathing. “I’m already at full speed, Simone,” Caiden replied as he concentrated on driving. I kept my eyes on him the whole time. It still fresh in the back of my mind on how we used to play at school together. But now, my friend is struggling with death because he wanted to save me.
The healer quickly helped Noah as soon as we get back. We both waited inside his room while the healer tried to save his life. “Caiden, can’t you heal him?” I looked back at Caiden. “He’s being shot by a silver bullet. I can’t do anything about it.” Caid
